I'm a lawyer (J.D.) with a certificate in indigenous law, w/a passion for researching and sharing stories of human trafficking cases from across the globe to shed light on a subject many people shy away from. Trafficking, whether it be in drugs, weapons, or people, is the 2nd fastest growing global crime. So why aren't more people talking about it? Additionally, Trafficked proudly shares stories of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls (MMIWG).       On April 8, 2022, a 15-year old girl attended a Mavericks game in Texas with her stepdad. 

      She went to the bathroom around halftime and never came back. 

      11 days later she was recused from a motel in Oklahoma City and 8 people were implicated in a human trafficking ring.

      The largest human trafficking catastrophe to date on U.S. soil. On June 27, 2022, approximately 70 people were left to die inside of a tractor trailer that was abandoned on an industrial, Texas road. The traffickers, United States of American citizens, were attempting to exploit the truck of Central American teenagers and adults.
