If you’ve ever thought that hiking or wild camping was only for experts with expensive gear — think again. Summit or Nothing is here to prove that anyone can get outside and enjoy real adventures, no matter your background.


What started as a YouTube channel — born from a desire to escape a job I hated and to finally see some mountains — has grown into a popular, entertaining, educational and inspirational channel nearly ten years in the making and with more than 180 outdoor adventures to look back on: from hiking and camping in the wilds of Dartmoor to the walking the cliffs of the South West Coast Path, from mountain camps in the Lake District to winter hiking in the remote Romanian Carpathians, proving that You don’t need to be Bear Grylls or Ant Middleton to get out there. If I could do it — someone with zero sporting background — then anyone can.


In this podcast, I revisit those journeys, telling the stories behind the videos and reflecting on the mistakes, challenges, and lessons we learned along the way. Sometimes inspiring, sometimes disastrous, always honest.

      🌄 Welcome to the Summit or Nothing Podcast! 🎙️

      If you love hiking, wild camping, and real outdoor adventures, you’ve just found your new favourite podcast. Summit or Nothing began life as a YouTube channel, where two ordinary blokes set out to film their hikes, camping trips, and challenges across the UK and beyond. What started as a simple idea — to get outdoors, escape the day job, and climb a few hills — has grown into a journey of over 180 adventures.


      From our very first steps on Dartmoor, to camping on the side of mountains in the Lake District, walking two-thirds of the South West Coast Path, and even hiking through the Romanian Carpathians, we’ve proved you don’t need to be Bear Grylls or Andy McNab to enjoy the outdoors. And you certainly don’t need to spend a fortune on gear. If I could do it — someone who started with no sporty background at all — then anyone can.


      This podcast is all about revisiting those adventures, reflecting on the highs and lows, and sharing the lessons we’ve learned along the way. You’ll hear the honest stories behind the YouTube channel: the laughs, the mistakes, the challenges, and even the moments where the pressure of creating content took its toll on my mental health. After a much-needed two-year break, I’m back, ready to take on YouTube and podcasting in my own way, at my own pace.
