  • Season 5, Episode 88: Interview with Madalina Bellariu Ion (Rhea) from “Drained” (2024)
    Feb 2 2026

Seduction. Vampires. Romance. Sounds like an Anne Rice movie. Drained is far from being just that… As a matter of fact, the movie is smart and alluring which makes this movie excellent. The film is exceedingly captivating. The character Rhea is fascinating and mysterious, and Madalina played the role extremely well.

Romanticism will bite you in the neck! No pun intended, it’s the truth because you cannot have romance without vampires. The elements are there, and Madalina broke them down in this interview.

It was wonderful to speak to Madalina about her character in this not so typical movie about vampires. Although she was born less than a stones throw away outside Transylvania, she is the perfect rendition of a female vampire who is the predator, but who also has a tiny trickle of humanity within her.

I highly recommend watching this movie if you want to get away from the usual, boring, repeated vampire plot. The tone and pace in this film is what you are looking for if you need to watch something different and Madalina delivers. Now available for steaming on Amazon Prime, Video, Tubi, Google TV, Apple TV, and YouTube.

  • Season 5, Episode 87: Interview with Italia Ricci (Naomi Riley) from “The Confession” (2026)
    Jan 28 2026

Southern Gothic Horrors are making a comeback in the horror community and this film in particular is centered on generational trauma, religious terror, and atmospheric dread. However, there’s nothing more terrifying than a mother who uncovers her deceased father’s dark secrets plus the evil behind it all threatens to finish what it started, putting everyone in danger.

What an absolute honor and pleasure to sit down with the talented Italia Ricci!

We spoke about her role in this twisted movie with the essence of religious and climatic horror. As the movie is being filmed, she explained the arc that her character experienced in the story along with the physical boundaries.

However, there is that one line that her on-screen son says in the movie in which I believe that may have shocked the audience. You’re going to have to watch the movie to know what I am writing about.

We also spoke about her roles as the Silver Banshee in Super Girl and her role as a White House employee in Designated Survivor (in which that point in the interview, I was being a nerdy fanboy).

How will audiences connect with this movie? If you’re a single mother who would do anything in the world to protect your kid(s), then you will definitely have something to take with you after watching it.

The Confession is available to rent or purchase on Apple TV Store, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home. It is also streaming on platforms like Tubi, Hoopla, and The Roku Channel.

  • Season 5, Episode 86: Interview with Emma-Leigh Cullum (Young Periwinkle) from “IT: Welcome to Derry” (2025)
    Jan 23 2026

I cannot stress enough how the character development in this show did not cease to amaze me and to truly understand Pennywise, you have to understand what he represents. However, there is one character in the series I would love to know more about, and that is Periwinkle herself, the daughter of Pennywise as the younger adaptation played by the extremely talented Emma-Leigh Cullum who delivered her role flawlessly.

I had the honor and pleasure of sitting down with this young and amazing actress who we have all come to love as Young Periwinkle, the daughter of the notorious clown, Pennywise.

She went into great detail regarding what it was like on set with Bill Skarsgård, the dynamic on and off set, the makeup process, and what she liked the most about her character. As an actress in a period piece, one might want to do some research about the era ensuing in the show, but Emma did not do any research and that is what talent is all about and I can most certainly agree that she is very talented.

It: Welcome to Derry is still streaming on HBO Max and Apple TV. I highly encourage checking out the show. And if you are like me, I love origin stories and this series is heading in that direction.

  • Season 5, Episode 85: Interview with Hannah Emily Anderson (Mary Crane) from “Return to Silent Hill” (2026)
    Jan 20 2026

After watching the trailer, I will happily admit that I am looking forward to seeing the latest installment for the Silent Hill Franchise. 20 years later, this franchise is still gaining traction worldwide and if you’re a gaming nerd like me, you know that this movie will be epic.

What an honor and pleasure to sit down and talk with Hannah about her role in the newest installment of the Silent Hill Franchise.

We spoke about who her character is, her character’s arcs, and the story behind the movie. In comparison to the Silent Hill movies in the past, Hannah described this one is very similar to the 2006 original. In a sense, all of the Silent Hill movies are alike if you try to wrap your mind around it. She also talked about the physical challenges while filming, the tone and pace of her previous films, and her future goals.

  • Season 5, Episode 84: Interview with Paige Bourne (Elyse) from “Kombucha” (2025) – Not Your Mother’s Kool-Aid!
    Jan 16 2026

A movie mixed with dark humor, body horror, and social commentary, the film hysterically skewers soul-sucking jobs, corporate nonsense, and the fixation with wellness products, making it significant for those in the grind. It’s fun, it’s trippy, it’s brilliant, and in essence it’s a cult-worthy indie movie that deserves a lot of praise.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Paige Bourne who plays Luke’s apprehensive girlfriend in this twisted, psychological mind spank of a movie. With the David Cronenberg style body horror, you will not want to miss this one.

Paige and I talked about her role in the film, the limits that were pushed on their characters, how each special effect sequence was completed, and much more.

With intense performances by the actors in this film, I can tell that each and every person was committed to delivering their roles. So much so that I was (and still am) convinced that the Kombucha drink is not good for anyone. I could be wrong, but I still have my doubts.

  • Season 5, Episode 83: Interview with Hannah Storey (Rhonda) from “IT: Welcome to Derry” (2025)
    Dec 30 2025

It’s time to face your fears as I was joined by Hannah Storey, who you all know as Rhonda Chambers on the prequel horror series, It: Welcome to Derry. With its terrifying atmosphere, expanded lore, and handling of difficult themes, Hannah tells us more about Rhonda, a member of the Pattycakes.

After talking to Clara Stack about her role as Lilly, I had the absolute honor and pleasure to sit down with Hannah and speak to her about her character and her role in the series. Also, I cannot think of a better way to end my shows for the year.

I love the energy that Hannah exhibited throughout the entire interview! There is so much that I learned about her character and the group, The Pattycakes. Obviously, the casting director chose the right actress to portray Rhonda. We both go into a deep dive about character arcs and themes along with Rhonda’s personality.

Make sure that you check out the show, “IT: Welcome to Derry” still streaming on HBO Max and head on over to Hannah’s Instagram page to show her your support.

  • Season 5, Episode 82: Interview with Isabel Champ Conner (Jodie Defeo) in “The Amityville Horror” (2005)
    Dec 26 2025

Stemming from the original movie from 1979, the general consensus states that the 2005 rendition is an over exaggeration. I will have to say that I disagree because it has proven to be a terrific movie with fast and furious energy, a lot of jolts that never linger, and the morbidly horrific images anchor the strong characters. One character in specific is Jodie Defeo, played by the talented Isabel Champ Connor who flawlessly delivered her role by submerging herself into this movie.

20 years later and this movie still creeps me to the core! I sat down with Isabel to get to know her and what it was like to act in the reboot of the original 1979 film and what he had to say is priceless information.

This being her movie debut, I have to say that Isabel was given the role of Jodie Defeo and she delivered! Being only 8 years old, she had to play a pivotal role in the film. Most fans wouldn’t know this because in the original 1979 film, Jodie is not what you think she is. However, I am glad the writers made the change, and the director chose Isabel for this movie, it made it much more believable.

With that being said, Isabel has landed herself on the paranormal and supernatural map and I am honored to have sat down with her. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did, and please follow Isabel on Facebook and let her know how well she did in the movie.

  • Season 5, Episode 81: Interview with David Tomlinson (Max Benedict) from “Silent Night, Deadly Night” (2025)
    Dec 23 2025

With Christmas just a few days away, I thought that I would bring you all some Christmas fear with the precise recipe for a holiday horror blend that delivers a fresh take on the 1984 original. This is a movie that you cannot hate; not only does it preach good tidings, but Santa kills Nazis and he also delivers satisfying brain-busting kills.

I sat down with David and got the gist of the movie, and I am very happy to have the conversation with him. Getting to know him on a personal level and what he brought to the film is amazing. Check out the interview and let me know what you all think.

Silent Night, Deadly Night is still playing in theaters, and I recommend checking it out.
