In November 1974, Ronald "Butch" DeFoe Jr. murdered his entire family in their sleep, seemingly without waking up any other member of the family. Later the Lutz family moved into the same house, and had their own demonic presence tormenting them while they were there... Was this the work of demonic possession? Could Ron Jr. drug habit be to blame? Was the house haunted by the spirits of the DeFoe family? Was it simply ghosts that haunted this house, or was it something far darker? What did Ed and Loraine Warren discover during their famous investigation?
