Susan Christman Worthington was born and raised in Pasadena, California, the youngest of two children. She was raised by her maternal grandparents and developed a love of the gospel. She received her nursing education in California & Utah and met her husband when they were both working in the same hospital. She married Park in 1974 and are the parents of two children. She worked as a nurse for 50 years. She served in the Kansas Wichita Mission with her husband in 2016-2018, where she worked as the mission nurse. She and her husband also served as Service Missionaries in 2019-2021 working with FamilySearch.
Susan likes to read and travel and thinks of herself as an aging beach bum. She and her husband have worked in the Kansas City Missouri Temple and the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple for over 10 years and consider it one of the greatest blessings of their life together.
