      A state of play exists for all of us, if we'll give ourselves the chance to embrace it and enjoy its rejuvinating effects.

      When I met Hawaii based author, Steve Rix, I knew he had access to something I hadn't felt in a long time. What was it? What was he smiling from ear to ear at virtually every thing I said? Was he merely a master salesman? Was I being taken for a ride?

      The answer is a clear no and this conversation, however random at times, proves that Steve believes in his concepts and a life time of play, at all costs. Play is the ground breaking experience and it's right in front of us, waiting for us to take the reigns. To overcome, once and for all, that which holds our faces to the floor.

      I've been a Seahawks fan since I was a little boy. I admit I'm a fair weather fan, but I still know great football when I see it.

      My father said that my guest today was the most committed player of his generation, at least on the Seahawks, and I'd have to say that he was probably spot on.

      Lofa Tatupu is a man of standards, work ethic, and drive. As it goes, life after the NFL can hit all sorts of snags, but Lofa walked towards opportunity and away from his fears.

      Lofa founded ZoneInCBD in 2018, and through this company, is serving the people in a different way, and through a different product than he ever imagined. Through continuous growth and effort, Lofa found his purpose, and his influence can be felt throughout the industry.

      I met Dean Van Dyke a few years back when I was reconnecting with a lot of Seattle area business leaders after spending some time overseas. A number of my friends had moved away while I was away and well... since I am definitely THAT GUY who needs to feel loved, I sought out new relationships at a few networking events.

      A friend of a friend knew Dean and had recommended we meet and get to know each other. After that initial meeting, I felt a special kinship with Dean and we immediately forged what I believe will be a life long friendship.

      Along the way, Dean has served me in ways I hadn't expected nor asked for, but he has always been there. As the saying goes "if you want to be better, serve others, and better follows" or... something like that.

      It's my hope that you enjoy our frank and intimate conversation on the show today and I believe you'll see why Dean is someone you would want to know and probably honestly really need in your life.
