À propos de ce contenu audio
Robbie Arnott's first novel - published in 2018 - was longlisted for the Miles Franklin Award, and nominated for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for fiction. Since then, the Launceston-born fiction author has gone on to garner a slew of other awards, including but not limited to The Age Book of the Year, the Voss Literary Prize, the Australian Book Industry Award for Literary Fiction, and more long and shortlistings for the Miles Franklin Award.
In this chat with hosts Emma Azon-Jacometti and Amanda Vallis, Robbie details the significance of the Tasmanian landscape both for his creative process and as a character in his books, how he comes back to himself after the come-down of a finished novel, and why awards aren't everything.
