Ricky plays a recording from WFDR. His luck has finally turned around. Being a big fan of radio and DJing, he is reminded of playing a song in a party van and his friends being pleased. What a great feeling. He then reminisces about working the 6am air shift and his friends being shocked at how awake he sounded on air. Ricky then goes into some technical details on how to make your production look professional, not cost a fortune and not take forever to make. Finally, Ricky gives his review on a comedy show on Peacock. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving and see y'all in December!

Ricky starts off this relaxed, July 4th holiday show talking about a voiceover, that to this day, still makes him laugh. What the heck is a mud bog? Ricky explains. He then dives into some how to talk. HDMI port is not working?? I mean, watching TV is mission critical. Ricky Harris Media has you covered on TV repair as well. Ricky went into these repairs expecting a mess, but it wasn't bad at all. So give it a try with proper precautions of course. Ricky then makes some dumb jokes while talking about repairing his trashcan.

Ricky starts off the show with a cover instrumental. If you want to add lyrics, let Ricky know! He dives into the guitar recording process and talks about some practicing techniques. He then plays his electric and lets you hear it isolated. Ricky talks about buying CD's for the first time in about 16 years and is reminded of hearing a fully digital recording for the first time. Ricky is not one of, those engineers. Or is he? Can you hear the difference between 48k and 192k? Ricky then talks about the most important part of recording digitally, in his opinion. Is production easier now? Well, it depends. Ricky explains his view on it. He talks about the psychological effects of hearing high resolution sound. This being live or recorded or both. Finally, shotgun mics are mentioned. Thanks for listening everyone and have a great October!
