Next, Dr. Corey Franklin, former Director of Medical Intensive Care at Cook County Hospital and now a contributor to the Chicago Tribune editorial page, joins the guys to discuss his research into the recent uptick in measles cases, which he posits may have been caused not by a downward trend in vaccinations but by an increase in the population of unvaccinated immigrants to the U.S. Then, they talk about the upcoming Democratic primary for mayor in the District of Columbia and whether a recent rise in crime will play an important role in the election, scheduled for June 16th. Plus, they look at tonight’s gubernatorial debate in California, which will be the first major event affecting the race since Democrat Eric Swalwell dropped out.
