We sat down with Keiynan Lonsdale and talked about identity, music, connection, coming home, and the very weird question of who we are when everyone else already has an idea of us.

We move through Keiynan’s career, the things that have shaped him, and somewhere along the way the conversation becomes something a little bigger: who are we now?

Are we all the things people say we are?

Do we ever actually know? Maybe not. Maybe.. we’re still figuring it out.

With Keiynan Lonsdale, we talk identity, creativity, culture, where we come from, and what it means to keep becoming.

Radio Topaz is a Black/Blak show all about culture, connection and community: where conversations don’t always end up where we thought they would.
