Rodney Edward Freeman Jr. is one man with a very impressive resume. His journey to librarianship and archives is one that is sure to inspire folks to never stop believing for the impossible. Even more impressive than his resume, is his heart for service and preserving the histories of black men and women. You cannot afford to miss the latest installment to Pssst! Professionally Speaking

In this third installment of Pssst! Professionally Speaking I had the pleasure of speaking with none other than John Light Jr. of Richmond, Virginia (Southside, Shawty)!

John currently serves as the Youth Services Supervisor for the Bull Street Public Library in Savannah Georgia, making him the fourth black librarian male in Savannah history.

This episode is very special, raw, and real, and is the first visual episode of the podcast. Come see for yourself how John Light Jr. is indeed a very bright light for the library community.

      No pun intended.
