  • What Avoidance Is Actually Costing Your Business
    Oct 15 2026

I spent a lot of the last year avoiding parts of my own business.

    Not because I didn't care.

But because I was afraid of what I might find if I actually looked. 😬

Unanswered emails. Client projects that needed to be closed out. Results I wasn't sure we were getting. Financial numbers I didn't want to look at.

And instead of dealing with some of those things directly, I hired more people, created more distance between myself and client delivery, and hoped everything was going okay.

    The problem?

AVOIDANCE WAS COSTING ME ACTUAL MONEY.

In this episode, I'm getting really vulnerable about what avoidance looked like in my business, why I fell into it, and what happened when I finally decided to stop running away from the uncomfortable stuff.

    We're talking about:

    • The sneaky ways avoidance shows up in your business, from unanswered emails to not knowing how many clients are actually in your program
    • Why fear of client reactions can keep you from following up, offboarding, or asking for feedback
    • How I realized I was sometimes hiring and delegating to create emotional distance, not because the business actually needed more people
    • What that extra payroll was doing to my profitability
    • Why stepping away from client delivery can also mean stepping away from the feedback loop
    • The story about my friend who thought he was swimming with sharks, only to discover they were dolphins
    • Why facing the things you've been avoiding can actually feel WORSE before it feels better
    • How having one centralized Client Hub made it so much easier to get back into my business
    • What happened when I finally looked at our client results, support tickets, and unfinished projects
    • How I'm learning to respond to real problems instead of spending all my energy imagining worst-case scenarios

    Here's what surprised me most.

When I finally started looking at everything I'd been avoiding, most of it was actually FINE.

There were things to fix. Conversations to have. Systems to improve.

But the reality was so much less scary than what I'd built up in my head.

And once I could actually SEE what was happening, I could start making decisions, improving client results, and getting proactive again.

You don't have to fix everything today.

But what if you just LOOKED at the thing you've been avoiding?

Because sometimes the problem isn't what's exhausting you.

It's all the energy you're spending trying not to see it.

  • Is AI a Deal Breaker? I Asked My Audience.
    Oct 14 2026

I asked 102 people in my audience how they feel about using AI to build their Airtable systems.

And the results were REALLY interesting. 👀

I've been experimenting with Claude Skills to completely rethink how I teach people to build their Client Hubs inside Systems Over Stress.

Instead of giving everyone a giant Airtable template full of tables and fields they might never use, what if you could explain your business to AI, get your strategy reviewed by an actual human (ME!), and then have AI help build a custom system for your offer?

    That's what I'm working on.

But before going all in, I wanted to know whether my audience would actually WANT to use it.

    In this episode, I'm sharing:

    • The results of my 102-person AI poll, including why only 4.9% said AI would be a deal breaker
    • Why 40% of respondents said GIVE ME ALL THE AI, while another 46% were open to using it with reservations
    • How I'm experimenting with Claude Skills to make building custom Airtable systems significantly faster
    • Why I'm keeping a HUMAN approval step before anyone builds their system
    • The difference between using AI to build a system and knowing what system you actually need
    • Why I'm still teaching people how to build their systems manually
    • How AI-supported troubleshooting could help clients get unstuck without waiting for a support ticket response
    • Why I don't want Systems Over Stress to become an AI course
    • What I learned from clients who want AI assistance but still want to understand how their systems actually work

I'm also sharing a little update from my four-day digital detox in the redwoods, where I finally got to experience the adult summer camp I used to help run without having to be the person managing all the operations. 😂

    The biggest takeaway?

AI can make building your systems faster. But it doesn't replace knowing WHAT you should build in the first place.

That's where the strategy comes in.

And I'm really excited about what this could mean for the next version of Systems Over Stress.

  • Client Fires Used to Send Me Into a Spiral. Not Anymore!
    Oct 14 2026

I woke up to client fires today. 😂

Automations going live. Clients needing edits. Questions coming in. Things that needed troubleshooting.

And what's interesting is that a year ago, this kind of morning probably would've sent me into a complete spiral.

    Today? I handled it.

Welcome back to my Results-Focused Offer Refresh, where I'm taking you behind the scenes as I wrap up the done-for-you side of Systems Over Stress and prepare for the next chapter of my business.

In this episode, I'm talking about:

    • Why client emergencies used to trigger my fight, flight, or freeze response, and what's changed
    • How I'm learning to handle urgent client requests without treating everything like a catastrophe
    • Why I have a rule against complaining about clients in our team Slack
    • How unclear boundaries and scope can create client resentment
    • The progress we're making on closing out every remaining done-for-you project
    • Why I'm proud of the systems my delivery assistants built and the relationships they've developed with clients
    • How some clients will continue working directly with their delivery assistants after our agency closes
    • The coaching and conversations helping me navigate this transition
    • My experiments with Claude skills and AI-assisted Client Hub builds
    • The challenge of continuing to promote my masterclass while wrapping up client delivery
    • Why I'm preparing to spend four days completely off the grid before heading into launch mode

One of the biggest things I'm noticing through this entire transition is how differently I'm responding to things that used to completely overwhelm me.

    An automation breaks?

Okay. Let's figure out what happened and fix it.

    A client needs clarification?

Let's communicate clearly and make a plan.

A project needs to be wrapped up?

Let's make sure everyone knows exactly what's left and what happens next.

I'm not pretending everything is perfect behind the scenes.

But I'm really proud of the fact that I'm not running away from the uncomfortable parts anymore.

And I'm even prouder that we're closing out this chapter with happy clients, great systems, and a team that did really freaking good work.

October is about finishing what we started.

November is about launching what's next.

  • I Pushed Back My Launch... Here’s Why (And Zone of Genius vs Zone Of Excellence)
    Oct 3 2026

    I pushed back my launch.

And weirdly... I feel REALLY freaking good about it.

Today was one of my coaching days, and I went into it feeling overwhelmed trying to do two very different things at the same time:

Wrap up the done-for-you side of my business REALLY well.

    AND prepare for a launch.

Turns out, running an agency and a group program at the same time requires a LOT of energetic switching. 😂

And as I’ve been cleaning up not just my kitchen sink offer, but my entire kitchen sink BUSINESS, I’ve gotten really clear on something:

Done-for-you implementation is my Zone of Excellence. It is NOT my Zone of Genius.

I’m really freaking good at it.

People pay me well for it.

    I’ve spent years mastering it.

    And it drains me.

So in this episode, I’m talking about:

    • The difference between your Zone of Excellence and your Zone of Genius
    • Why being GOOD at something doesn’t necessarily mean you should build your business around it
    • Why I’m intentionally retiring a lucrative income stream
    • What I believe my actual Zone of Genius is after six years of doing this work
    • Why I’m NOT recommending immediately killing an offer just because you’ve outgrown delivering it
    • The expensive mistake I made years ago when I shut down my profitable group program to launch a lower-ticket template shop
    • Why sometimes your Zone of Excellence needs to fund your transition into your Zone of Genius
    • The two options I was considering for wrapping up our remaining done-for-you clients
    • Why I ultimately decided to push the Systems Over Stress launch into November
    • The question my coach asked that made the decision feel really obvious
    • Why giving myself more time means fewer sleepless nights, fewer skipped workouts, and a launch I can actually be fully present for

October gets to be about CLOSING OUT.

I want to wrap up every remaining done-for-you client beautifully and put a pretty freaking bow on this era of the business.

Then I want to walk into November with a completely clean slate and say:

    LET’S LAUNCH THE THING.

I could have technically done both.

But just because you CAN carry everything at once doesn’t mean that’s how you want to run your business.

And for maybe the first time, I had the financial breathing room, the coaching, and the self-awareness to simply buy myself more time.

  • I Delegated So Much I Forgot I Was Good at This
    Oct 3 2026

I think sometimes when you delegate enough of your business, you can forget that you’re actually REALLY GOOD at doing the things. 😂

Today I’m coming off four straight hours of client delivery, including a three-hour VIP Day where we clarified a client’s result, built her results tracking, and set up her Client Hub basically from scratch.

    We finished EARLY.

    And I walked away thinking:

Oh yeah. I know what the hell I’m doing.

Welcome back to my Results-Focused Offer Refresh, where I’m taking you behind the scenes as I simplify my offers, get closer to my clients, increase profitability, and basically clean up not just my kitchen sink offer... but my kitchen sink BUSINESS.

In this episode, I’m talking about:

    • What I learned from stepping back into a three-hour VIP Day after phasing myself out of most custom client work
    • Why focusing on CLIENT RESULTS completely changed how I approached the systems we built
    • How getting back into delivery is confirming that I’m taking Systems Over Stress in the right direction
    • Why I’m feeling weirdly nostalgic about wrapping up my done-for-you era
    • The way I’m thinking about frustrating parts of my business as “the last time I have to do it this way”
    • Why I want my business AND my boundaries to feel unrecognizable by the end of the year
    • How my Client Hub is keeping me grounded while I make a million changes at once
    • What happened when I ran payroll, reviewed my P&L, and handled bookkeeping tasks myself after letting go of my OBM
    • The little opportunities to increase profitability that I’m noticing now that I’m deeper inside the business again
    • Why doing more myself right now does NOT mean I plan to do everything myself forever

This is definitely a WORKING season of my business.

But instead of looking at everything I’m doing and thinking, “Oh my God, why am I doing this myself?”

    I keep thinking:

This is probably the last time I’m going to do it this way.

October is my month to wrap up the loose ends.

Finish the old client work. Clean up the systems. Get closer to delivery. Understand the numbers. Find the unnecessary expenses. Close out this version of the business REALLY freaking well.

Because I want November to feel like a clean slate.

    Not an entirely different business.

Just a new version of it that feels significantly different to run.

  • A Very Real Launch Day: Crying, Deadlines & Getting It Done
    Oct 3 2026

Can you run your business while you’re sad?

Today’s Results-Focused Offer Refresh update is a little different because, honestly, I spent a LOT of today crying.

I got some unexpected news in my personal life. I left my Pilates class early because I couldn’t focus. My workday absolutely did NOT go according to plan.

And I also have a launch coming up.

I have a sales page that needs to get done. Coaches who need time to review it. Existing clients to support. Done-for-you projects I’m wrapping up. Travel coming up. And a whole business that doesn’t stop existing because I’m having a hard day.

In past seasons of my life, something upsetting happening could easily turn into, “Well, I guess I can’t work today.”

Today, I’m learning how to hold both.

I can be sad AND keep running my business.

In this episode, I’m talking about:

    • What happened when my personal life completely derailed the workday I had planned
    • Why I let myself fully crash out and cry instead of pretending I was fine
    • The boundaries I put in place so I could stop waiting for another text or update and get back into my work
    • Why I’m still getting my sales page to my coaches TODAY, even though it isn’t completely finished
    • How “done is better than perfect” is showing up during this launch
    • Why I’m thinking about discipline as a gift to Future Ashley instead of “fuck your feelings and follow the plan”
    • The things I know I HAVE to prioritize during high-capacity seasons so tomorrow doesn’t become even harder
    • Why going to the gym, eating in a way that makes me feel good, and taking care of myself become MORE important when business is busy
    • How I’m balancing launching, client delivery, travel, relationships, and taking care of myself
    • Why I’m trying to take some of the financial pressure OFF this launch instead of gripping onto “this HAS to work”

I’m not saying there aren’t days when you need to call it.

    There absolutely are.

But I’m getting much better at recognizing the difference between “I genuinely need to stop today” and “I’m having feelings, and I can have those feelings while still doing the things I said I was going to do.”

Today wasn’t my most productive day.

But I cried. I turned off my phone. I worked on my sales page. I showed up for my client. I recorded this Live.

And now I’m going to the gym. 😂

Sometimes that’s what running a business looks like.

  • I Scaled Myself Out of My Offer. Now I’m Getting Back In. Here's Why.
    Sep 28 2026

I spent years building Systems Over Stress so that I DIDN’T have to personally deliver every part of it.

I hired co-coaches. They answered support tickets. They coached our clients. I could see everything happening behind the scenes, but I didn’t have to be the person doing it.

And honestly? I still think that’s a completely valid way to scale an offer.

But as I started this Results-Focused Offer Refresh, I realized something:

I needed to get back inside my own program.

Not because my co-coaches weren’t doing a great job. But because as the founder, there is inevitably some distance between you and your clients when you’re no longer the person delivering the offer every day.

And if I’m going to completely refresh this offer around getting my clients better results, I want to be BOOTS ON THE GROUND again.

In this episode, I’m talking about:

    • Why I’m personally answering support tickets, reviewing Client Results Roadmaps, and getting deeply involved in delivery again
    • What I think founders need to consider when they scale delivery through co-coaches
    • Why I want to personally deliver the new curriculum before eventually handing pieces of it off again
    • What I’m learning from reviewing completely different offers going through the same client results process
    • How talking to existing clients made me realize some of the BEST parts of my program were barely mentioned on my sales page
    • The new flow I’m creating inside Systems Over Stress now that I’m crystal clear on the result
    • Why I rebuilt my sales page in a simpler no-code tool so I can actually update it as the offer evolves
    • How I’m making the Client Hub more modular so existing Airtable users don’t have to start from scratch

I’m also getting into a question that came up after I shared another coach’s onboarding experience:

Is it okay to gate content until your clients complete something?

I’m sharing why I actually think clients often WANT a more guided experience, how I’m using gating inside my own curriculum, and where I draw the line between guiding someone through the process and making them jump through unnecessary hoops.

And finally, I’m sharing some coaching I got after I started obsessing over affiliate clicks and launch numbers, and the reminder I needed that constantly analyzing every tiny number is NOT how I’ve created my best results.

The biggest theme of this entire refresh continues to be:

    Get closer to the result.

    Get closer to your clients.

Then let what you learn change the offer.

  • Your Past Clients Didn’t All Get the Same Result. Now What? (PLUS a look into our affiliate portal + new masterclass!)
    Sep 24 2026

What happens when you recommit to getting your clients ONE clear result... and immediately start thinking about all the past clients who came through your offer BEFORE you had that clarity?

Welcome to the Results-Focused Offer Refresh, the newly renamed version of my Cleaning Up My Kitchen Sink Offer series.

I’m still taking you behind the scenes of revamping my six-year-old group program, Systems Over Stress, but I’m looking at EVERYTHING through one lens:

How do I get my clients even better results?

And today, we’re talking about the shame spiral that can happen when you finally start looking closely at your client results.

I currently have 48 clients coming up for re-sign, and I’ve been going through their data, getting on calls with them, and asking what result they actually got from the program.

And what I’m realizing is that just because they didn’t get the ONE result I’m focused on now doesn’t mean they didn’t get a result.

They joined a choose-your-own-adventure offer. And they chose their own adventure.

In this episode, I’m talking about:

    • How I’m thinking about past clients as I narrow my offer around one clear result
    • Why not having perfect results data doesn’t mean your clients didn’t get results
    • What I’m doing when I realize I don’t actually know what happened with a client
    • How having one centralized Client Hub is helping me find quiet clients and proactively reach out
    • What I’m learning from my end-of-program and re-sign calls
    • How those conversations led me to create a new advisory add-on for clients who want more access and support
    • Why I streamlined my team and am relying more heavily on my own systems again
    • A behind-the-scenes look at the masterclass and affiliate program I’m building for my next launch
    • How I’m balancing taking care of the clients already inside my offer while preparing to sell it to the next group

The biggest reminder I’m giving myself is this:

You can’t change how you tracked results a year ago. But you CAN decide how you’re going to track and improve them going forward.

Look at the data you have. Talk to your clients. Figure out what result they got. Find the people who need more support.

Then use what you learn to make the next version of your offer even better.
