The Outlaws are back and diving deep into the good, the bad, and the bizarre of professional wrestling history! This week, Albert, Dags, and Brando kick things off with a brand-new Spotlight Series interview featuring independent wrestling standout Lumberzack . Zach talks about catching his first glimpse of SmackDown in 2003, his fandom for Eddie Guerrero, his upcoming tag team match at Turnbuckle Turmoil Championship Wrestling, and what it's really like transitioning from a day job working in a prison to being a modern-day superhero in the squared circle.

After wrapping up with Zach, the guys turn their attention to the main event topic of the week: the 2006 relaunch of ECW under the WWE umbrella on the Sci-Fi Channel. From the initial excitement following ECW One Night Stand and iconic debuts like CM Punk, to the questionable booking decisions, the infamous Zombie, the loss of the gritty independent spirit, and eventual disasters like December to Dismember, the crew breaks down why the experiment ultimately derailed—and why CM Punk remaining a breakout megastar was the ultimate silver lining. Plus, a detour through classic cable TV memories, backstage stories, and the usual behind-the-scenes shenanigans with Kevin and Michael!

• The Spotlight Interview: Zachary Thornton joins the show to discuss his wrestling journey, his dream opponents, and representing independent wrestling ahead of his match on October 18th in Skamokawa, Washington.

• The WWECW Experiment: A nostalgic and critical look back at WWE's 2006 revival of ECW on Sci-Fi, examining how it strayed from the original ECW vision while still giving platform to future legends.

• The CM Punk Effect: Why the emergence of CM Punk remains the absolute greatest success story to come out of the WWECW brand.

• Cable Nostalgia & Ramblings: Random detours discussing classic 90s cable television, USA Network memories, and more.

Grab your drink, sit back, and enjoy this jam-packed episode of the Pro Wrestling Outlaws!

The Outlaws return with a wild, story‑packed episode featuring longtime Pacific Northwest wrestling figure Sign Guy — a referee, manager, ring announcer, wrestler, podcaster, and now promoter of Turnbuckle Turmoil Championship Wrestling.

Sign Guy breaks down his upcoming October 18th event in Skamokawa, Washington, including a Monsters Match main event (Big Vicious vs. Kongo Kong), an SP8 Rules bout, and multiple tag team clashes. From there, the crew dives deep into his decades-long journey in the business:• How Jerry Wilson and Dice Man Ronnie Vegas pulled him into HPW• His infamous “12‑foot face bump” at the Fireman’s Benefit Show — complete with separated shoulder, shattered orbital socket, and multiple skull fractures• Refereeing Darby Allin’s first-ever match • Working with a young Nick Wayne • Traveling thousands of miles with Kevin Sullivan, learning the craft directly from one of wrestling’s great minds• Memories from the ring with Tommy Rich, Doug Gilbert, Greg Valentine, and more

Along the way, the Outlaws derail themselves with contractually obligated chaos, a surprise appearance from “Michael,” jokes about Dallas Dust, Brando’s forgotten podcast bookings, and a full roast of Sabotage’s infamous “loser wears a dress” match.

If you love independent wrestling history, backstage stories, and the kind of unfiltered banter only this crew can produce, this episode delivers.

This week on Pro Wrestling Outlaws, the boys go long, go deep, and go completely off the rails in a way only they can. Albert, Dags, and Brando kick things off with a detour into Joshi history, Meltzer boomers, and a surprisingly heartfelt shout‑out to WrestleSpective’s documentary on All Japan Women’s Wrestling — a rare moment of sincerity before the wheels fall off.

From there, chaos arrives in the form of Michael Caine, who storms in to announce he’s protesting the show after being “ECW’d” by Dags with a rubber check. His dramatic monologue — including a rant about his forgotten horror film The Hand and its alleged low‑budget remake The Foot — becomes an instant Outlaws classic.

Once the dust settles, the crew dives into the main event: building the official Pro Wrestling Outlaws TNA Mount Rushmore. What follows is nearly an hour of passionate debate, deep‑cut history, and pure wrestling nerdery. Jeff Jarrett’s legacy, AJ’s peaks and valleys, Joe redefining the X Division, Sting’s complicated tenure, Gail Kim’s importance to the Knockouts division — every corner of TNA’s past gets dragged into the spotlight.

The final verdict?Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, and Samoa Joe — with Gail Kim earning an honorary spot just off the mountain.

Other highlights include:

• Brando’s passionate defense of Jeff Jarrett as the true cornerstone of TNA

• Albert’s reluctant but surprisingly strong case for Sting’s importance

• Dags’ argument that Gail Kim may be the most important woman in TNA history

• A detour into Raven, CM Punk, Mickey James, and the Gathering

• A closing stretch so unhinged it breaks Dags mid‑sentence

This episode is pure Outlaws energy: wrestling history, absurd comedy, inside‑baseball storytelling, and the kind of chemistry you only get from friends who’ve been arguing about wrestling for decades.
