Keynote Speaker of our Fall 2019 conference, James Fadiman, PhD, is a co-founder of Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 1975 (now known as Sofia University). Throughout his career, Fadiman has been the President of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and Director at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

Fadiman has been associated with psychedelics since the early 1960's when first introduced to them by Richard Alpert (Ram Dass) in Paris, in 1962.

Most notably, he is the foremost microdosing researcher and his current endeavors include being a research design consultant, author, and lecturer.

As the psychedelic pathway continues to open up, there are more and varied lenses to examine the ways in which we offer care for those going through these healing processes. Angela Ward, RNC Ob/EFM CPRT, shares her perspective caring for patients in more than 300 individual and group ketamine-assisted therapy sessions. She also discusses how Registered Nurses bring a unique skill set to psychedelic-assisted therapy. Angela has spent the majority of her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse, helping women through the transformative process of birthing their babies into the world. Her practice philosophy was shaped by her time at Seattle University, where the Jesuit values of social justice and education instilled in her a deep belief that all people deserve the highest quality of care no matter what their means and resources.

Angela Ward is a Registered Nurse, Transformational Coach, and Integration/Embodiment Specialist. She is the CEO of Guardian at the Gateway, a Nurse-Managed Lifestyle and Wellness company, which guides professionals struggling with burnout to regain passion and purpose in not only their work but their whole lives.

She lives in Seattle, WA., with her beloved husband, Jed, eight sassy hens, and two sweet pups!

Lecture taken from the 2019 Portland Psychedelic Conference: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Healing

At the dawn of modern humanities relationship with AI we must look to the past and to our entheogenic technologies to glimpse the future of what will usher us out of the human and into the unimaginable. Infra particle intelligence older than time lead us to access points in quantum space that will deliver humans a hyper-dimensional knowledge and a more mature understandings of reality. Psilocybin mushrooms gives us the tools to answer these questions of our very near future and beyond. Kilindi's lecture pushed the envelope of how we can attain the wisdom to make it through these difficult times of doubt and fear ushered in by the acceleration of these these new technologies through the ingestion of high dose mushrooms. Kilindi Iyi shared his experiences in these realms in this very important lecture.

Kilindi Iyi is the head instructor and technical advisor of Tamerrian Martial Art Institute. A world traveler and mycologist, Kilindi has presented on the subject of psilocybin as far north as Norway and as far south as Australia. His exploration and research centers on the high dose psilocybin mushrooms. Kilindi shares information gleaned from many excursions into the hyper-dimensional and inter-dimensional realms through his direct experience with dosages in the 20 thru 40 dried gram range of mushroom ingestion. Kilindi brings decades worth of traveling in novel states of consciousness to share, coupled with the skills of master cultivator of exotic mushrooms lends a power and authenticity to his presentations.
