    Road House & Road House
    24 Apr 2024
Tara, Adam and Dave road trip to 2 road houses to play nice, have drink and throwdown with Jake Gyllenhaal and Patrick Swayze!

Jake Gyllenhaal plays Ex-UFC fighter Dalton who takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys road house, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.

This updated Roadhouse is directed by Doug Limen and premiered on Amazon Prime. And even though it didn’t premiere in theaters like the creators wanted, it did attract 50 million viewers in its first two weekends. Also starring in this barroom romp is Connor McGregor, Daniela Melchoir and Billy Magnussen

Plus a movie that PEOPLE ALSO WATCHED – especially the creators of the 2024 Road House remake, because it’s the original Road House! Patrick Swayze plays a renown(?) bouncer who takes a job as a bouncer at a Missouri road house only to discover that this small, southern town paradise is not all it seems!

Road House was released in 1989 and with Patrick Swayze, stars Sam Elliot and Kelly Lynch. It made a little over 61 million. What is your logline pitch for this

Dicks: The Musical & Singing in the Rain
    27 Feb 2024
Based on the off-Broadway show, Fucking Identical Twins is written and stars Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson. The cast also features Megan Thee Stallion, Nathan Lane, Megan Mullaly and Bowen Yang as God.

Twins, separated at birth, discover each other, and devise a plot to get their parents back together. But this Freaky Friday gets super freaky with sewer boys, an amputated vagina and a scene that proves that incest is best kept in the family in DICKS THE MUSICAL

And here’s a movie that PEOPLE ALSO WATCHED…We’re going from a musical that was inspired by an off-broadway show to a musical that was, as according to the credits, “suggested” by the song Singing in the Rain. Which also happens to be the title of the movie!

SINGING IN THE RAIN was released on April 11, 1952 and stars Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Conner. It was directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen! Okay, what’s your logline pitch for SINGING IN THE RAIN?
