Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to guard our hearts, as everything flows from it. Where fear says, "Hold tighter; protect yourself," love encourages us to trust and take risks. ### The Power of TrustLiving in love means trusting that God will provide. Philippians 4:19 states that God will supply all our needs according to His riches, not our limited resources. Despite witnessing miraculous events, they still romanticized their past bondage out of fear. They preferred the predictability of slavery over the uncertainty of freedom.
