Good evening. Oklahoma. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you would never guess what's headed our way. It's deceptively pleasant. Fifty-five degrees, calm winds, clear skies. But that quiet is about to break. A cold front is currently slicing southward through the state, dragging a line of showers and thunderstorms right behind it. In the next 24 hours. Tonight, that line arrives. Central Oklahoma, you'll see storms developing after midnight with lows holding near fifty degrees. Head up to Northeast Oklahoma. And the night gets more aggressive. Rain is likely by dawn. And those storms could pack some hail. Down in Southwest Oklahoma, things stay a bit milder, but keep an eye on the sky between ten o'clock tonight and two in the morning. Wednesday keeps the umbrella handy for the northern half of the state. Northeast Oklahoma stays soggy with showers and thunderstorms all day, highs near sixty degrees. Central Oklahoma sees scattered storms with a high of fifty-nine. Southwest Oklahoma actually dries out a bit, reaching sixty-four under partly sunny skies. Then the pattern flips. Thursday and Friday bring a surge of warm, humid air. Highs jump into the seventies and approach eighty degrees. That warmth fuels a severe weather setup Friday. Strong storms will be capable of large hail, damaging winds. And even a few tornadoes. The weekend quiets down. Saturday brings highs in the low sixties. Sunday and Monday rebound into the seventies and low eighties under mostly sunny skies. One more thing. Look up tonight. That full moon will be lighting up the incoming clouds before the rain takes over. That's your forecast. We'll be back tomorrow. Take care For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
