À propos de ce contenu audio

Welcome to "Off-Air with Kristi Capel"! My podcast promises to brighten your day with laughter, motivation, and inspiration! Throughout my 14-year journey as a news anchor, I've had the pleasure of interviewing incredible individuals. Often, the constraints of live news do not allow us to delve deep into their stories. That's where my podcast comes in. Join me as we uncover the fascinating journeys of comedians, actors, and inspirational figures from all corners of the country. These are tales that resonate, stories that inspire, and beginnings that spark the imagination. 20 years in the news and entertainment business, former Miss Missouri USA, and mom of 3, I might just have a few stories of my own to sprinkle into the mix! We will also delve into important and thought-provoking discussions. I am also committed to shedding light on serious issues that matter. Through the power of storytelling, "Off-Air with Kristi Capel" will kindle inspiration and foster a connection with the narratives that shape our lives. We will uncover the beauty of human tales and find joy in shared experiences. Join me as we explore the depths of inspiration and unwavering faith.2025 Christianisme Ministère et évangélisme Sciences sociales Spiritualité

  • Katie Spotz- Youngest American to Row the Atlantic! (Ep. 51)
    Mar 18 2026

Katie Spotz is an endurance athlete, author, and humanitarian. Once a self-described "benchwarmer," Katie discovered that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things. Since then, her adventures—from rowing the Atlantic Ocean solo to running ultramarathons across the United States—have helped bring clean water to more than 50,000 people.

Katie will launch on a 10,000-mile solo row across the Pacific Ocean—pushing for the record for the longest nonstop ocean row by a woman and aiming to become the first American woman to row the Pacific solo. This 10,000-mile world-record attempt is to help provide clean water to 100,000 people! She takes off in December from Lima, Peru!

"She used her raw courage to row the Atlantic, all alone, for 70 days—to make sure people who will never know her name have clean water to drink." — Diane Sawyer, ABC News
