Spooky time continues at Now Watch This! Luck and Joe cover one of the best horror movies of all time with Poltergeist. Poltergeist (1982) is a masterclass in suburban dread, blending Steven Spielberg’s signature family warmth with Tobe Hooper’s visceral horror. The story follows the Freelings—Steve, Diane, and their three kids—living a cookie-cutter life in a California planned community called Cuesta Verde. Was this movie cursed? Who really directed Hooper or Spielberg? We discuss this and more. We all loved the Jobeth Williams scene too lol Go into the light children there is peace in the light....this house is clean. Watchers the spooky season continues at Now Watch This! Growing up in the 80s and 90s nothing scared me more than Robert Stacks voice coming over the creepiest theme in television of Unsolved Mysteries. When now watch this talks Halloween in the 80s we bring the expert in and thats Gerry D of Totally Rad Christmas. Gerry and I grew up being spooked by the unexplained episodes of Unsolved Mysteries and we wanted to share that fear with the watchers. Forget The Excorcists, Amittyville, and those kids in the corn the thing that got me was the ghost segments in Unsolved Mysteries. Join us and then after head over to Totally Rad Christmas and hear us there as well.
