A Wichita State University icon, McDaniel was selected fourth overall in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Seattle Sonics.
An NBA All Star in 1988 and a 13-year vet, McDaniel had stints with the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and New Jersey Nets.
