    • Gender in the Workplace - Masculinity, Anxiety and Inclusion with Dr Sarah DiMuccio
      Feb 10 2026

Welcome to Episode 19 of No Man’s an Island – a podcast powered by Men’s Therapy Hub, a directory of male therapists for male clients.

In this episode, Chris Hemmings speaks with Dr Sarah DiMuccio, a social psychologist and gender equity researcher whose work explores how men experience and navigate gender expectations in the workplace. Based in Copenhagen, Sarah works for Above & Beyond, Part of AVT Business School. Her research includes understanding ‘masculine anxiety’ – the pressure men feel to constantly prove they’re ‘man enough’ – and how this anxiety can influence engagement with diversity and inclusion efforts.

They discuss the challenges of bringing men into DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) work, why current approaches often alienate them, and how reframing these conversations around empathy, partnership and shared benefit could transform organisational cultures. From precarious manhood to psychological safety, Sarah and Chris unpack how gender norms affect everyone – and why compassion, not competition, is the real key to change.

    • Fatherhood and Play – How Dads Build Connection with Dr Benjamin Bernstein
      Feb 3 2026

Welcome to Episode 18 of No Man’s an Island – a podcast powered by Men’s Therapy Hub, a directory of male therapists for male clients.

In this episode, Dr Jett Stone speaks with Dr Ben Bernstein, a clinical psychologist and writer whose career has focused on helping boys, fathers and families reconnect through play, curiosity and emotional presence.

Ben shares his journey from high school teacher to psychologist, exploring how relationships shape learning and why connection, not correction, drives real change in young people. Together, he and Jett unpack the deeper psychology of play – from Lego and basketball to teasing and father–son connection – showing how imagination and humour open doors that direct questions can’t.

They discuss why fathers often slip into “boss mode” instead of “connection mode”, how teasing builds trust, and why loosening up might be the most therapeutic thing men can do for themselves and their kids.

    • Relationship Breakdown – Surviving Heartbreak and Starting Again with Chris and Jett
      Jan 27 2026

Welcome to Episode 17 of No Man’s an Island – a podcast powered by Men’s Therapy Hub, a directory of male therapists for male clients.

In this conversation, Chris Hemmings and Dr Jett Stone unpack one of the toughest challenges men face – relationship breakdown. Drawing on research and their own experiences as therapists, they explore why separation and divorce can have such a profound impact on men’s mental health.

They discuss grief, loneliness and identity loss, the collapse of the “provider–protector” role, and why so many men struggle to rebuild after losing a partner or family unit. From self-worth and attachment to social isolation and fatherhood, this episode is a compassionate deep dive into love, loss and what it means to keep going when everything falls apart.
