While wondering how to reunite it with its parents, someone else shows up: a slithery snake, who they realise is trying to trick them. Night Cat and Swoop escape the snake with the baby bird, but then run into ... another snake! This snake is unexpectedly kind, and helps them write a note for the birds' nest. At home, the Human calls a friend, Wildlife Vet Adam, who cares for the baby bird until returning it home to its nest.
