Good morning. New Jersey. I'm Aaron Jolly. That light dusting of snow yesterday left a thin white coating across the state. Now fog has rolled in to take its place. Step outside this morning and you'll feel that damp, heavy air clinging to everything. In the next 24 hours. Here's the breakdown across the state. North Jersey starts at 34 degrees under patchy fog. The fog lifts by 9 A.M. and skies turn partly sunny. You'll hit a high of 49 degrees. Central Jersey is sitting at 37 degrees with similar fog that burns off by mid-morning. You'll top out at 50 degrees. Down in South Jersey, it's the mildest at 40 degrees, but also the dampest. Areas of fog linger through the afternoon with a high of 46 degrees. Tonight, fog returns statewide. A few showers may creep into South Jersey after midnight. Lows hold in the upper 30s. Thursday is a soaker. Rain spreads from south to north during the morning. North Jersey could see a brief period of freezing rain around sunrise before temperatures climb. By afternoon, steady rain falls across the entire state. Expect a quarter to half an inch of rainfall. Highs only reach the mid 40s. The rain tapers Friday morning. Then the pattern flips dramatically. A warm front lifts north this weekend. Saturday highs surge into the upper 50s and 60s. By Monday and Tuesday, temperatures could hit the upper 60s to low 70s. That's nearly 34 degrees above normal for early March. We're gaining almost three minutes of daylight each day now. The spring equinox sits just two weeks away. Tonight's full moon will rise at sunset. If the clouds part enough for you to see it.
