So far we have been studying the names of God in order of how they first appeared in Scriptures. It is exciting and enlightening to see how each name builds upon the previous name.

This week we will discuss El Elyon - The God Most High. The name El Elyon shows there is no higher power or authority than God. This name of God's emphasizes His preeminence, majesty, and power. It also indicates that His rule is absolute and extends to not just the physical world but to the spiritual world as well.
