  • That Norway v England Episode: Kane, Rogers & Burn talk Haaland & their HUGE Norway game! | Ep. 414
    Jul 10 2026

On this episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Sids and Tom are given unprecedented access inside England's World Cup training camp as they go behind the scenes with Thomas Tuchel's squad ahead of a huge quarter-final against Norway. After England's unforgettable victory over Mexico, the lads witness first-hand the togetherness that's driving this squad, with Peter receiving an emotional England Legacy Cap presented by Harry Kane in front of the entire team.

Pete also chats with Harry Kane to relive the incredible night at the Azteca, discussing the celebrations, the emotional Wonderwall moments with England fans, the challenges of tournament life, and why this squad feels different to any England team before it. The captain opens up about the adrenaline of knockout football, family life during the World Cup and what it really feels like to carry the hopes of a nation.

The boys are then joined by Dan Burn and Morgan Rogers, who reveal what life is really like inside England's camp. They discuss the unforgettable atmosphere inside the Azteca, what it's like waiting for your chance in tournament football, the incredible togetherness within the squad, and why every player—whether they start or come off the bench—has such an important role to play. The pair also lift the lid on life away from the pitch, from games of Traitors, golf and basketball to the debates and laughs that have helped make England's training base feel like a home away from home.

There's plenty of classic TPCP nonsense too, as the production team set Pete, Sids and Tom a brutal all-you-can-eat sandwich buffet challenge, before another Paddy Power Predictions League update, plenty of laughs from inside England HQ, and an emotional farewell (for now) to Tom as he heads back to the UK after an unforgettable month on the road with the boys.

    Jul 1 2026

On this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Sids and Tom are joined by Republic of Ireland legend Robbie Keane for an unforgettable conversation covering one of football's greatest careers, life in America, and the magic of the World Cup.

Robbie reflects on his incredible journey from Wolves to Coventry, Inter Milan, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and LA Galaxy, revealing the lessons he learned from some of football's biggest names including David Beckham, Teddy Sheringham, Dimitar Berbatov and Luka Modrić. He explains why movement—not pace—made him one of the Premier League's deadliest strikers, shares the mentality that transformed LA Galaxy into champions, and reveals why Tottenham have struggled to build on their success despite winning the Europa League.

The lads also dive into Robbie's unforgettable Republic of Ireland career, including his iconic last-minute World Cup goal against Germany, what it feels like to score on football's biggest stage, and why representing Ireland always meant more than anything else. Robbie also gives his verdict on the current World Cup, predicts the Golden Boot winner, explains why Lionel Messi still amazes him, and reveals which team he'd most like to play for in the tournament.

Elsewhere, Pete, Sids and Tom discuss the drama of the knockout stages, the most chaotic penalty shootouts of the tournament so far, England's chances of lifting the trophy, and another round of the Paddy Power Big World Cup Fixture before Tom puts everyone to the test with another brilliantly ridiculous quiz.

  • That England v Panama Episode: Juan Pablo Angel on Aston Villa & England TOP their group! | Ep. 410
    Jun 29 2026

On this week’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Tom Fordyce and Sids react to England making it through the World Cup group stages and look ahead to the knockout rounds.

The lads discuss where England sit among the tournament favourites, whether stronger opposition might actually suit them better, and why Marcus Rashford, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane could still have a major role to play as the tournament opens up.

There is also plenty of classic nonsense along the way. Sids talks through his unexpectedly therapeutic trip to an LA laundrette, Tom reveals how he accidentally got into a swimming pool on a senior citizen discount, and the lads lose themselves in an obscure 90s footballer rabbit hole before attempting their best David Beckham eyebrow impressions.

The boys are then joined by Aston Villa legend and former Colombia international Juan Pablo Ángel. Pablo reflects on arriving at Villa from River Plate, landing in England without speaking the language, being unveiled at Villa Park before the move was even fully signed, and adapting to the speed, pressure and culture of the Premier League. He also opens up on growing up in Medellín, learning football on the streets, the intensity of Boca Juniors vs River Plate, representing Colombia, scoring against Brazil and Argentina, and why MLS is far more competitive than many people realise.

The lads also return for another round of Paddy Power Chaos Cards, reviewing the latest leaderboard after LeBron James' unlikely contribution, before making their predictions for the next round of World Cup action. With bonus points on the line and bragging rights at stake, there's no shortage of confidence, controversy and classic TPCP chaos.

  • That England v Ghana Episode: HONEST reactions to the draw & a CRAZY Shakira Stat! I Ep. 409
    Jun 25 2026

On this week’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Tom Fordyce and Steve Sidwell are properly into the 2026 World Cup as the tournament shifts into full gear across the United States. With England now two games into the group stage, the lads look back on the electric atmosphere in Dallas for the win over Croatia before reacting to a much more frustrating goalless draw against Ghana in Los Angeles. Sid and Tom relive what it was like inside one of the biggest stadiums in world football, from the sea of England fans and giant screens to tequila in the stands, while Pete gives his take on whether England’s flat second performance is actually the kind of experience tournament-winning sides need.

There’s plenty of World Cup chat as the boys debate whether Thomas Tuchel’s England are showing real signs of becoming contenders, discuss why the draw with Ghana shouldn’t cause panic, and pick out the teams and players catching the eye so far. France, Argentina and the tournament’s biggest stars all come under the microscope, with Mbappé, Messi and Haaland setting the pace in what the lads call a proper “big dog World Cup”. There’s also a brilliant detour into one of the tournament’s strangest subplots: referees turning into full-blown content creators, complete with ref cams, names on shirts and one official pulling up with cramp after apparently overcommitting to the shot.

As always, the football is only half the story. The lads get stuck into another chaotic World Cup quiz, somehow producing one of the worst quiz scorelines in podcast history, while Chris Stark checks in from an England watch-along back home to report from the pub gardens of Britain. There’s also a brilliant fan cameo from rising artist Moolah Jones, who nails her score prediction almost immediately, and another outrageous instalment of Paddy Power’s “Minister of Mischief” game, featuring celebrity bet-builder picks from Joe Marler, John Terry… and, somehow, a suspiciously available LeBron James.

With England still well placed, more huge games on the horizon, and more guests lined up from the road, the boys reflect on the strange rhythms of tournament football, the joy of following England abroad, and why this World Cup is shaping up to be one of the most entertaining in years!

00:00 - Intro: formal names, “Big Sid” and school nicknames

02:14 - Sid’s Dallas trip and the incredible England atmosphere

03:21 - Are these the stadiums of the future?

13:44 - Cape Verde, underdog stories and the expanded tournament debate

17:43 - Who are the teams to beat? France, Argentina and Mbappé discussed

19:29 - Shakira has made more World Cup appearances than Italy

20:12 - Celebrity watch and the pod’s love from England fans in Dallas

22:17 - The World Cup quiz begins… badly
