Will Ghee Brown On Its Own?
Ghee does not brown easily because it is clarified and free from most milk solids, giving it a high smoke point and greater heat stability than butter. However, if overheated, exposed to air for long periods, or improperly prepared, ghee can brown, smoke, or change color. Proper cooking control and storing ghee in an airtight container in a cool, dark place help maintain its color, flavor, and quality.

      How To Fix Burnt Ghee?
Burnt ghee cannot be fully fixed, as overheating gives it a strong, unpleasant flavor that makes it unsuitable for regular cooking. The best solution is usually to discard it and prepare a fresh batch. To prevent burning, ghee should be cooked over low to medium heat and removed once the milk solids turn golden brown. In mild cases, adding garlic or curry leaves may help reduce burnt odors, but proper heat control is the most effective way to avoid burning ghee.
