  • SPRING
    Mar 1 2026

March 1 is the first day of meteorological spring. It is a great time to enjoy the last few weeks of the winter season with the increasing daylight and warming temperatures. It is also a great time to focus on the season ahead, starting to take actions on winter dreams. Those that are created in your heart with love are the best.

  • KEEPING TRACK
    Feb 28 2026

It seems as though I have had a lot to keep track of lately. I am watching squirrel tracks leading to the old maple tree where, when the sap is running, they chew on the limbs to sip the sweet liquid. AND this is podcast #6700, the sun is setting at 5:30, and it is the last day of a cold February. I think it is good to keep track of positive progress along our Soul’s journey.

  • A KNOCK AT THE WINDOW
    Feb 27 2026

The bird feeders are all hung about a foot from our windows, giving us wonderful opportunities to observe the birds that come for the food. I can tell without even looking when the woodpeckers are gathering suet because the sound is like a knock at the door. Sometimes knocks at my heart tell me it is time to share positive loving nourishment with others.

  • NATURE LIKES TO PLAY TRICKS
    Feb 26 2026

As I looked out the window into the woods, I spotted two bald eagles facing each other on a tree. Looking closer I realized it was two snowcapped burls. I often see things in Nature that are not what I thought. The same thing happens in life. What we originally think about something, may be different than we thought.

  • HEADS UP
    Feb 25 2026

With all the ice and snow that has accumulated on roofs and trees it is very important to keep watch for hazards from above, demonstrated by the large ice chunks by our front door. Had we been standing under them, they could have caused serious injury. It is a good idea to keep heads up in life for any type of decision making.

  • NOT WHAT WAS EXPECTED
    Feb 24 2026

The weather forecast was for a blizzard covering a good part of New England, and our local school was cancelled. However, we woke up to a snowless view of the mountains while the southern part of the state got a snowstorm. In life we have choices in how we deal with predictions beyond the weather. Our heartfelt belief can help change our prediction in life for the better.

  • NOT ALWAYS A DELIGHT
    Feb 23 2026

Last night the sunset was very red. According to the old saying, “Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning; red sky at night, sailor’s delight,” the morning was supposed to be fair weather. Not so. We are experiencing the tip of a major snowstorm. It just goes to show that not everything in life plays out as expected. Flexibility can help us make the adjustments.

  • IN BETWEEN
    Feb 22 2026

We received six inches of snow overnight and are now getting ready for another storm due tomorrow. I seem to have a lot of “in betweens” where I prepare by setting my intentions as best as I can for my next assignment along my soul’s path.
