  • Session 12 - Now What?
    Feb 17 2022
Mental health is a journey. Just like our physical health, it’s something we have to practice, exercise, and work on. Day by day, little by little, as we partner with God and use the tools He’s provided, we can experience a lifestyle of mental health. In this session, we’ll discover that where the Holy Spirit is, there is freedom. He wants to come and be our guide, counselor, and comforter. He wants to empower us to live a life of victory. God is good, Jesus has forgiven you, you are loved, and everything is possible – which means in Jesus, mental health is possible for you. • Session 11 - Do Something Fun
    Feb 17 2022
When was the last time you just had fun? When was the last time you sang out loud or laughed so hard your stomach hurt? The Bible tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine – that the kingdom of God belongs to children. And what do children do? They play, have fun, and enjoy life! In this session, we learn that having fun is an essential part of our mental health journey. Sometimes, the greatest thing we can do for our stress or anxiety is just put the phone down, go outside, and enjoy the world God created. • Session 10 - Serve Someone
    Feb 17 2022
The Bible says those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. You see, it’s not always about you or your struggle. You don’t have to wait to be perfect before living out your purpose. One of the reasons Jesus lived mentally free is because He never lost sight of His purpose to serve others. In this session, we discover that one of the greatest things we can do for mental health is to choose to get outside of ourselves and serve someone. • Session 9 - Gratitude
    Feb 16 2022
The Bible teaches that when we don’t give thanks, it darkens our mind and confuses our thoughts; we literally can’t see things for what they truly are. Yet when we present our requests to God by prayer, petition, and with thanksgiving, it says the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus. In this session, we learn that prayer and gratitude are an essential part of God’s solution to dealing with mental health challenges. When we choose to thank God for who He is and what He’s doing, our gratitude becomes a weapon that enables us to walk in victory over our circumstances and struggles. • Session 7 - Playlists
    Feb 16 2022
Playlists are powerful. The voice of the world wants to steal, kill, and destroy, but the voice of God wants to give you hope and a future. So, what playlist or voice are you choosing to listen to? The voice of the world or the voice of God? In this session, we discover that when we choose to listen to the voice of God instead of the playlists of the world, He will lead us in love, and we’ll experience true mental health. • Session 6 - Remove, Release, Replace
    Feb 16 2022
Your mind processes more than 12,000 thoughts per day, the majority of which are negative. How you think determines how you live, and it’s impossible to have a healthy life with an unhealthy mind. In this session, we discover that if we want to change the way we live, it starts by changing the way we think. Part of mental health is choosing to renew our mind, and we do that by removing and releasing the lies we believe and replacing them with God’s truth. Feb 16 2022
Our friends label us. Social media labels us. Other generations label us. And, the world tries to label us, but only Jesus has the authority to say who we are. When the world wants to define us by our struggle, God says, “you are not your anxiety, and you are not your depression; you are my beloved son or daughter." In this session, we’ll discover that we can live a life of mental health by knowing who we are in Jesus.
