A DRAG PATHHHH. This week on the pod, Adam and Katy dive into drag paths, Adam decides he’s purchasing a Hamptons house, and the Hillstone closing rumors send him into a full crash out. We talk paying for Hinge, which naturally leads us into a deep dive on dating older men and a nostalgic stroll down memory lane to our League era. We also ask the hard-hitting question: are first dates actually enjoyable, or are we all pretending? Plus, we weigh in on a listener’s wedding dilemma that has us surprisingly divided. All of that and more on this week’s episode of Match Made in Manhattan.

Advice segment: If you need advice on a situation, or have a wild story to share - email matchmadepodcast@gmail.com with subject line “ADVICE SEGMENT” where we will pick stories to answer each week (anonymously - always). And don’t forget to email us your advice segment updates!

Have you ever wondered if men’s underwear can actually change your life… This week on the pod: we investigate the lore of men’s underwear and the mystical powers of Skims, Adam streaks during the blizzard, and he and Katy unpack the psychological damage of elementary school fitness tests (why were they grading us like Olympians?). Adam introduces us to the concept of “Circuit Gays” while questioning what kind of gay he even is, and Katy learns what “chopped” means, live, in real time. We close it out by helping a listener get a deeply embarrassing moment off her chest, because healing is communal. All this and more on this week’s episode of Match Made!

Have you ever hit it off with someone at a party… and then realized you introduced them as the wrong name to everyone with a pulse at the party all night? No? Just Adam? Okay. This week on the pod: Adam has a meet-cute moment at a NYFW party that turns into a social identity crisis, and the trio debates whether it’s ever acceptable to lie at a party (and how far is too far). We get into a very honest conversation about Plan B, Adam decides he’s going to learn a new language, and Colbie admits she never emotionally progressed past Spanish conjugations. Adam confronts his toxic trait of chronic multitasking, while we spiral through Love Story, JFK and Carolyn, Tell Me Lies, Wuthering Heights, Traitors, and why doomed romance will always seduce us. We close it out by helping a listener figure out what to do about a friendship that makes her heart race in a way that feels slightly medically alarming. All this and more on this week’s episode of Match Made!
