 Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly, and welcome to the Massachusetts Weather Podcast. It's Saturday, February 17th. Folks, step outside and you'll feel 25 degrees smack you in the face. That's your Saturday greeting. You're welcome. Here's the deal. Eastern Mass wakes up at 25 degrees with a north wind at 6 miles an hour. Clouds are hanging around like uninvited guests. Snow flurries are likely through the day. Nothing dramatic. Just enough to dust your windshield and make everything look pretty. Think powdered sugar on a donut. Drive an hour west toward Worcester and you're at 26 degrees. Lighter winds. Just a slight chance of flurries. Head all the way out to the Berkshires and it's 27 degrees under mostly dry skies. Barely a breeze at 2 miles an hour from the northwest. The quietest weather in the state right now. Tonight, temperatures drop into the teens statewide. Eastern Mass keeps those stubborn clouds. Western Mass goes clear and calm. The kind of cold that makes your nose hairs freeze on contact. Tomorrow you'll want to bundle up again, but we rebound a touch. Highs climb into the upper 20s to low 30s under partly sunny skies. Here's your heads up for the week ahead. Monday and Tuesday stay quiet with temperatures creeping upward. By midweek, there's a system we're watching that could bring snow or rain. Too early to call that one. Late February in New England always has a trick up its sleeve. Quick note. Sunrise hits at 6:33 this morning. We're gaining almost three minutes of daylight. Spring is whispering. Boston tides peak at 10.4 feet early this morning. Air quality is excellent.
