  • I JUST NEED TO WORK HARDER to grow my business! Let go of the "whatever it takes" mindset

    A lot of very successful people say you need to have a "whatever it takes" attitude—grind, push through, do anything to create results. But I don't hold that mindset, and here's why.

    The whatever-it-takes mindset confuses stretching yourself (which is good, necessary, even holy) with striving (which is driven by fear, ego, or someone else's definition of success). What feels like dedication becomes desperation when you're willing to compromise to get a result.

    In this episode I'm breaking down what happens when we adopt a whatever-it-takes mindset and why it's actually working against the business you're trying to build.

    You'll learn:- Why scope creep means you end up with the wrong type of business that's no longer what you set out to build- How focusing on outcomes over people slowly erodes trust and credibility with your audience- Why compromising your values to get results disconnects you from the people who resonate with you most- How the whatever-it-takes mindset makes your work me-centered when really we're vessels for God to work through- Why compromising your boundaries is not God-honoring and what to do insteadI choose to believe that God will multiply my efforts and bring the results meant for me if I'm choosing the path that most glorifies Him.
