  • S2 Ep27 Why Everything You Were Taught About Marketing Is Falling Apart (On Purpose)
    Apr 16 2026

This week's episode is a little different and honestly, I almost didn't record it. I've been sitting with something all week that felt too messy, without a tidy resolution to share (which let's be honest, it's kinda becoming my brand personality at this point). But that's exactly why I needed to share it.

Because here's what I've been sitting with: we are living inside systems that many of us have woken up to as misaligned, whilst the world still largely operates within them. And rather than rushing to fix it or solve it, I'm exploring what Richard Rudd describes as 2026 being a year of closing doors a year for clearing, shedding, and arriving at 2027 with a clean slate. Not a year for having all the answers.

I talk about what it feels like to be in this in-between space, not growing in the conventional sense, living back with my parents at 31, watching things fall away without knowing what replaces them, and why I genuinely believe that this discomfort is not a sign that something is wrong with you. It is alignment.

If you've been feeling the pull away from social media, the inability to squeeze yourself into words or packages that don't fit, the frustration of not knowing your exact direction, this one is for you.

  • S2 Ep25 What If You Don't Need To Stand Out In Your Marketing?
    Apr 8 2026

In this episode, I'm sharing a realisation that came to me on a recent retreat, one that has genuinely shifted how I think about standing out in marketing.

Sat around a table with 14 other women, I felt something I didn't expect: unoriginal. And instead of that feeling being a problem, it was one of the most liberating moments I have had in a long time. It got me thinking about how much of the marketing industry is built on this relentless pursuit of differentiation, and how chasing that can actually strip us of the very magnetism that makes us memorable in the first place.

I talk through a client story with a cacao company that perfectly illustrates this, how trying to sound revolutionary was drowning out the thing that actually made them stand out. I also get honest about the ways I have contributed to this conversation in my own messaging in the past, and where I now want to add more nuance.

If you have ever felt the pressure to constantly differentiate yourself, find your hot take, or shout louder than everyone else, this one is for you.

  • S2 Ep24 Why Your Marketing Needs You To Stop Outsourcing Your Genius
    Apr 3 2026

This week, I'm exploring a theme that feels deeply personal and one I know many of you are sitting with right now. I stumbled across the Gene Key that sits at the heart of my life's purpose (Gate 48), and honestly? It stopped me in my tracks. The shadow of this gate is inadequacy, that persistent feeling of not being enough, not knowing enough, and constantly seeking someone outside of ourselves to hand us the answers.

I'm talking about the ways we outsource our genius: through endless investments, qualifications, AI, psychics, business coaches, cookie-cutter strategies all in a bid to escape the discomfort of not knowing. But what if that discomfort is actually the gateway? What if the void, the uncertainty, the not-knowing is exactly where your truest wisdom is waiting?

I also touch on how this shows up in marketing, specifically why the most alive, magnetic content comes from your own inner flow state, not from borrowed language and strategies handed to you by someone else. The guru era is dying, the influencer culture is collapsing, and we're being called into a new paradigm where wisdom lives within, not on someone else's pedestal.

If you've been feeling that itch that something isn't quite fitting anymore, this one's for you.

  • S2 Ep23 Visionaries Need Voids
    Mar 25 2026

There's a particular kind of discomfort that comes when everything goes quiet.

Not the quiet you chose, the kind that descends on you. Where the calendar clears, the momentum stalls, the ideas you were pushing hard on suddenly feel like they've hit an invisible wall.

For a long time, I called that failure. Or fear. Or both.

But what if it was actually an invitation?

What if the pause, the fog, the stillness, the space that makes every hustling bone in your body itch is exactly where your best work has always been waiting?

In today's episode, I'm sharing something that's been moving through me in a very real and personal way. A psychic reading that left me unexpectedly deflated, what happened the moment I stopped resisting what it was telling me, and why I now believe that visionaries don't just benefit from space they actually need it to survive.

I'm calling it the fertile void. And I think it might just change the way you see your slowest seasons.

    Let's get into it.

  • S2 Ep22 How I'm Using a Social Media Sabbatical To Grow My Business
    Mar 16 2026

I've been sitting with a lot lately. The kind of a lot that makes you want to go completely off-grid, learn embroidery and never open Instagram again.

I've been questioning everything lately. My work, the noise, the way we've all just quietly agreed to film our lives and scroll through other people's and act like that's completely normal. And I wanted to show up and talk about it even though none of it is fully formed yet, because I think that's kind of the point.

So that's what this episode is, an honest look at the noise we're all swimming in, why so many of us feel this growing resistance to showing up online, and what I think is actually underneath that. We're talking social media, the self-development trap, why your work might not be landing the way you want it to, and this bigger collective shift I keep seeing in myself and in the people I work with. A real questioning of the way we've been told to do things and what it might look like to do them differently.

  • S2 Ep21 What Imposter Syndrome Is Trying To Tell You
    Mar 11 2026

this episode came from a conversation I had in Costa Rica that I genuinely haven't been able to stop thinking about. I'd just finished my writing retreat, I was travelling solo, and someone asked me why I was there, and the moment I said I'd come for a writing retreat, I felt myself physically recoil. Because I knew what was coming. Are you writing a book? Who do you write for? Is this your job? And every single question made me feel like a complete fraud. Like I'd been caught out. And I've been sitting with that feeling ever since — that weird thing that happens where the moment someone asks you to explain yourself, suddenly you're not sure you even are the thing you thought you were. And then I had this psychic reading, which I'm going to get into, and something came up that kind of cracked this all open for me. Because I think sometimes what we're calling imposter syndrome is actually something else entirely. Sometimes we're not experiencing imposter syndrome, we're just genuinely being an imposter. And there's a difference. Let's get into it.

  • S2 Ep20 Why Owning Your Style Is The Best Strategy With Artist Cass Deller
    Mar 6 2026

In this episode, I sit down with the incredibly talented artist and teacher Cass Deller, and honestly, I could have talked to her for hours. Cass built a thriving, multi-faceted creative business entirely by following what lit her up. From corporate burnout at Westfield to watercolour wedding stationery, surface pattern design, courses and mentoring, her journey is a masterclass in trusting your creative instincts over chasing a formula. We talk about why joy has to come before the money, how your personal style IS your strategy, the power of being willing to pivot, and why niching down might actually be holding you back. If you've ever felt torn between building a "real" business and doing work that genuinely feeds your soul, this one's for you.

You can find more about Cass's brilliant work here.

  • S2 Ep19 The Four Words That Changed My Marketing... And Will Probably Change Yours Too
    Feb 26 2026

In this episode of Marketing Musings, I’m diving into four words that sparked equal parts expansion and resistance in me: let it be shit.

When I was on a writing retreat and saw that phrase printed across our sweatshirts, something in me lit up — and tightened at the same time. Because if I’m honest, I’ve built so much of my life on over-performing, over-delivering, and trying to avoid failure at all costs. From competitive trampolining as a child to being the “give it to Em, she’ll handle it” employee in my corporate career, I learned very early on that being “enough” meant never slipping up.

So the idea of willingly letting something be bad? Letting it be messy? Letting it not work?

    It felt almost unbearable.

But in this episode, I explore why that exact permission, to create badly, to start without knowing the outcome, to risk it not landing, is actually the gateway to our best, most alive work.
