Nobody had jobs, nobody needed jobs, because why bother when the food served itself, the houses stood ready for occupation, and the idea of “tasks” was as foreign as the concept of stress. Life was one long vacation and technology took care of everything—like little robots buzzing around, offering foot massages and bringing you snacks
