  • 23. Finding Your Own Voice
    Jan 30 2024
This one feels incredibly vulnerable to share. In this episode, we dive into finding your own voice, recognizing what is your voice versus the conditioning from our upbringing, society, culture, religion, relationships, etc. I talk about my own faith transition, how I experience my spirituality now and how exploring my own belief system has helped me find my voice. I have decided this will most likely be a two part series because while religion has been a huge voice in my own life, there are other voices that may cause us to quiet our own and they deserve to be talked about. Stay tuned for part two. I encourage comments, feedback, and questions. If this episode resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment, send an email at sherrielovecoaching@gmail.com. • 22. Reflection and Intention for the New Year
    Jan 2 2024
Taking the time to reflect on our intentions from the past year, lessons that we learned and how we can apply those lessons going forward with new intentions for the coming year. I talk about recognizing our self judgement and our shame points and shedding light into those spaces to show compassion to ourselves so that we can grow from those spaces from a place of love rather than resistance. Have you spent time reflecting on your past year? What lessons have you learned from your experiences this past year? How do you plan to integrate those lessons into your life this coming year? What intentions are you setting for the year? How do you want to feel and who do you want to be for 2024?

  • 20. Creating Belief From the Thoughts We Think
    Oct 12 2023
Every time I complete a big running event, I learn more about myself and life. I wanted to share some of the life lessons mulling in my mind after my 50 mile race this past weekend. In this episode, I talk about my running journey and experiencing a shift in my thought processes. We all have stories we write in our minds, about ourselves, about the people in our lives, about everything we experience. The stories we tell ourselves come from the thoughts we continually think, those thoughts create the beliefs we hold. This episode is about examining those stories and questioning if they are true or not. For example, I had a story in my head that, because it had been almost two years since I last participated in an ultra event, that I no longer had the fitness required to complete it. But, as I made the decision to show up and do it anyway, my experience and my body showed me that the story I had in my head wasn’t true. Deciding to think something different creates belief, and that gives us motivation to take action to create the result to promote that belief. Examining your own mind and realizing it all comes down to choices is so empowering!

  • 18. Discovering Who You Are Beyond What You Do
    Oct 4 2023
I'm tackling a big event this weekend: my first ultra distance race since the beginning of 2022. And I've got some pre-race jitters. In this episode, I talk about re-visiting my why, again; giving myself permission to opt out and then choosing to still opt in, even though I feel the least physically prepared for a race than I've ever felt; and the positive effects of gratitude on my mindset. How choosing to participate in things like ultra running, or chasing any big goal, is less about the activity, and more about being the type of person who dares to show up. I talk about how we typically identify with the things we do instead of the why and how we do them. And why that distinction is important. Are you what you do? Or Why you do it? Can you still be you, either way? Listen to learn how to discover the answers within yourself.

  • 17. Healing After Betrayal, Part II
    Sep 19 2023

A follow up to my previous episode about what it feels like to experience betrayal trauma, and how to recover. I had so many people reach out to me and share their stories, that I felt it appropriate and needed to record a follow up episode to address a few things that I felt were left out of the first one, as well as addressing and sharing the thoughts expressed by those who reached out to me.

Thank you to everyone who has shared. Please keep speaking your truth. Your voice matters. Speaking up is healing. Sharing and helping others heals you and them. It is beautiful to witness so many humans doing the work to correct their mistakes and move forward from them.

There is so much more life and beauty to experience after betrayal. It gets better, I promised you, it does.
