      The first time Jay Valdez performed a standup comedy set, he bombed…epically…in front of his entire High School senior class at a talent show….while wearing a fedora. More than 15 years later, he’s one of the bright new talents in the San Antonio comedy scene. While evaluating his first year in comedy, Jay exceeded goals he set for himself but that ain’t enough. He’s got at least 1,900 more open mics and showcases to perform in the years to come before he considers himself a true standup comic. He’s gonna get there soon because of his talent, hustle, and also by creating attainable goals along the way. A must-listen episode!
