Live episode: A Boulder Colorado native, Hippieman first tried standup in 1980 at the Blue Note—where the Pearl Street Pub now stands. Laid off in 2001, he turned to comedy full-time. His festival credits include Sketchfest, Limestone, Bridgetown and Denver’s High Plains Comedy Festival. He was the winner of the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in 2016 and the Laughlin Laugh Festival in 2015. He has appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He joins us today as he retires the name Hippieman.
