  • Rewriting the Story of “Not Enough” with Tracee Dahlke
    Apr 28 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when the life you thought you were meant to live suddenly shifts?

In this episode of Life Unfolded, I sit down with Tracee Dahlke, founder of PMA Med Spa, to talk about the unexpected turns that shape who we become. From earning a full-ride dance scholarship to not being invited back to the dance team the following year, Tracee shares how that moment left her feeling lost—and how it ultimately redirected her toward a deeply fulfilling career in healthcare and aesthetics.

We dive into the real, unfiltered journey behind her success, including navigating self-worth, breaking patterns in relationships, starting a business without a background in business, and learning to set boundaries in a life built around serving others.

This conversation is a powerful reminder that what feels like failure can actually be redirection—and that you’re allowed to evolve, pivot, and choose yourself at any stage of life.

If you’ve ever felt lost, behind, or unsure of your next step, this episode will meet you right where you are.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Losing your identity and rebuilding it from the ground up
    • How childhood experiences shape self-worth—and how to rewrite that story
    • Career pivots, burnout, and finding purpose in helping others
    • The reality of entrepreneurship and overcoming imposter syndrome
    • Setting boundaries and creating a life that supports your well-being
    • Why your worth is not determined by who chooses you

“Sometimes what feels like the worst thing that could happen is actually leading you exactly where you’re meant to be.”

  • The Courage to Start Over with Corey Perrigan
    Apr 14 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of Life Unfolded, I’m joined by Corey Perrigan—founder of Wild Soul Brand and a fellow creative entrepreneur whose journey is a powerful reminder that life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect… but sometimes that’s exactly what we need.

Corey shares what it looked like to follow the “traditional path”—college, marriage, home, family—only to realize he was living a life that didn’t truly feel like his own. After years of quiet misalignment, it took both a breaking point and deep inner work to begin rebuilding a life rooted in authenticity.

    We talk about:

    • The difference between the life you’re “supposed” to live and the one that’s actually meant for you
    • The “feather, brick, or truck” moments that force change
    • Navigating divorce, identity shifts, and starting over
    • Mental health, personal responsibility, and doing the inner work
    • Building a business that reflects who you really are
    • Why peace—not success—is the most valuable thing you can gain

Corey’s story is honest, grounded, and incredibly encouraging for anyone who feels stuck, out of alignment, or ready to make a change—but unsure where to start.

If you’ve ever felt like you were living someone else’s dream… this episode is your reminder that you don’t have to stay there.

What if the moment that could have ended your life… became the reason you finally started living it?

In this first-ever guest episode of Life Unfolded, I’m joined by Scott Parker—educator, team-building facilitator, and comedy performer—whose story is a powerful reminder that there is always more waiting for us, if we’re willing to listen.

Scott and I first met at the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce Conference in 2022, and we’ve stayed connected ever since—following each other’s journeys, growth, and pivots. It’s a full-circle moment having him here, and a reminder of how meaningful connections can begin in the most unexpected places.

In this conversation, Scott shares how a near-fatal car accident became a turning point in his life… shifting him from a traditional path in Western New York to a life rooted in adventure, creativity, and purpose out west.

    We talk about:
    • The quiet feeling of knowing there’s more out there for you
    • The moment everything changes—and what you do with it
    • Following curiosity into a completely new life path
    • Building connection, confidence, and collaboration through improv

Scott’s journey—from retracing the Lewis and Clark Trail to performing comedy around the world, to now helping teams reconnect and thrive—is a testament to what can happen when you choose to fully step into your life.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, restless, or like you’re meant for something more… this episode is for you.

  • Stop Waiting for a Seat at the Table
    Mar 16 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

There’s a moment every creative entrepreneur faces.

You look around the room — or the industry — and it feels like everyone else is more experienced, more successful, more qualified. Like there’s a table somewhere where all the “real professionals” sit… and you’re still waiting for someone to invite you.

    But here’s the truth:

No one is sending the invitation.

In this episode of Life Unfolded, I’m sharing a lesson that hit me while getting ready to attend a community business event — and it’s something every musician, artist, photographer, filmmaker, and creative entrepreneur needs to hear.

You can’t build a business hiding behind your phone, your laptop, your camera, your guitar, or your canvas.

At some point, you have to step out from behind the work, walk into the room, and pull up a chair.

    We’ll talk about:

    • Why creatives often feel like outsiders in business spaces

    • The intimidation of walking into rooms where you think you don’t belong

    • Why community involvement matters more than you think

    • And the mindset shift that helps you stop waiting for permission

Because the people at the table?

They all started exactly where you are.

    You don’t need an invitation.

    Just pull up a chair.

  • The Power of One More Try
    Mar 10 2026

    Send a text

Not every dream unfolds according to plan.

In this episode of Life Unfolded, Melody shares a story from her time living in the Los Angeles music scene. Her band had a show booked in Fresno. Band members had already bought plane tickets to fly in. Everything was set… until the booking company suddenly canceled the gig.

What could have been a failed weekend turned into a lesson in grit, resourcefulness, and refusing to quit.

Instead of accepting defeat, Melody started calling venues until she found a new place willing to let the band play — proving that sometimes the difference between failure and momentum is simply the willingness to keep trying.

This episode explores the idea that life rarely unfolds in straight lines. Plans fall apart. Opportunities disappear. But when you're willing to problem-solve instead of giving up, new paths open that you never expected.

Sometimes all it takes to keep the story moving… is one more phone call.

Entrepreneurs are told to dream big, plan ahead, and build five-year visions.

But what happens when your nervous system is stuck in survival mode?

In this episode, I share how emotional instability in a relationship impacted my ability to set goals, grow my business, and even imagine a future. We talk about people-pleasing, shrinking ambition, repeated attempts to leave unhealthy dynamics, and why safety is the foundation of expansion.

If you’ve been wondering why your drive feels different lately… this episode may give you language for what’s really happening.

    Growth requires imagination.

    And imagination requires safety.

  • Chaos, Creativity, and Courage to Show Up Anyway
    Nov 12 2025

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when you’re asked to livestream the largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi—with just one day’s notice? In this episode, Melody shares the behind-the-scenes chaos and creativity that went into pulling it off: from troubleshooting drone setups in a historic downtown building to laughing through every curveball that came her way (including the moment her microphones mysteriously “walked off” with the police).

But beneath the technical mishaps and adrenaline rush lies a message about courage and perseverance. Melody opens up about starting her business with only an iPhone and a laptop, learning to find creative workarounds, and why you don’t need perfect gear—or perfect timing—to create something meaningful.

This episode is part heartfelt pep talk, part hilarious production diary, and a reminder that success isn’t about never failing—it’s about showing up, figuring it out as you go, and being brave enough to press “Go Live” anyway.
