À propos de ce contenu audio

Life After Death attempts to explore, and come to terms with the trauma and heartbreak of losing a loved one to a place of peace.

My mum died a year ago. It was the worst year of my life, a year of heartbreak trauma that sent me spiralling into previously unfamiliar depths of misery. But it has also been a journey of retrospection and of discovery; of myself, Mum and life. I share it as much as a salute to Mum but also so that the listener, maybe with their own lives torn apart, may also find a measure of comfort.

In this podcast I will share my experiences, heartaches and what wisdom I have discovered as well as some of the “next steps” that follow a death. However, this won’t be a maudlin, woe-is-me, podcast, but an exploration of how grief may be managed so that by the end an answer is found to the question; is there life after death for those left behind?

Philip discuses what, in his eyes, makes a great mum. The character traits and the diligence required and how he has applied that to his own life. And how a loving and safe childhood is the best thing any parent can do for their child.

He also explores how within those seemingly strict guidelines of nurturing his Mum’s adventurous spirit found avenues of expression and one, which fifty years later would be instrumental in his own healing process.
