People often talk about ways we can stay motivated and people also discuss burnout, and it is great to discuss both of those things, and the different strategies people can use to stay motivated, but have you felt like some of the advice hasn't quite "clicked" with you? It is entirely possible that you are missing a key piece of the puzzle and it is throwing off your ability to maintain motivation for extended periods of time, and the key piece may help you find inspiration easier, as well as help you understand how and why you may experience burnout...that key piece is what I see as "capacity". Capacity, in a general sense, is how much we can endure, at minimum and at maximum, and it fluctuates a lot, but through understanding our own capacity to take on things, physically and mentally, we can fine-tune our performance to get the most out of our best days and our worst days.
