We figured we would celebrate the season and make our 13th episode a brief chat about horror movies and Halloween. Off topic yes but fun!

Talking about how school board meetings have become a local lightning rod for national politics. Have they ever been civil? Probably not. We discuss it none the less.

In this episode we chat about the botched withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan thus ending America's longest war. For the record we recorded this before the attack that tragically killed 13 U.S. troops and over 170 Afghans, so we do not mention it.

We steer away from the topic to chat about our current government structure and make it all the way to chatting about the January 6th situation, all in a tidy 45 minute package. Frankly we spend the least amount of time on the Afghanistan situation but it leads off the episode so it gets the title nod.

In this episodes we chat about the Covid-19 vaccine. We have seen few things in recent years that are as contentious as the pandemic, so it's our pleasure to present a reasonable conversation about the vaccine that doesn't devolve into ad hominem vitriol.

During the recording session for our 2nd Amendment podcast we got on a tangent about Google and Youtube and whether or not they censor information. It should be noted that we had a couple drinks by this point so the civility level went down a bit, but still in good fun.

We decided to slice this conversation out of our last podcast and put it out in the world as it's own quick episode. We think it's worth a listen and we hope you agree. 

As two proud gun owners we still found plenty to disagree with on the topic of the 2nd Amendment and the rights of American citizens when it comes to gun ownership and the regulations that surround it.

Is the 2nd Amendment about militias or firearms? Is an assault rifle even "a thing"? Do we have a gun problem in the United States? We chat about these things and a number of other gun related topics.
