  • Crazy Work
    Sep 22 2026

Crazy work is hiring someone because they know how to do something then spending your time trying to convince them they don’t know how to do the very thing you hired them to do. That’s not leadership.

That’s insecurity disguised as oversight. If every idea has to be changed until it sounds like yours, you didn’t hire expertise, you hired an echo. You hired their expertise. Stop arguing with it.

  • Quiet Leadership
    Sep 14 2026

What does leadership look like when it is quiet?

After realizing I had lost my wallet on the drive home from his daughter’s college, I began to panic, but my wife remained calm. Without raising her voice or announcing that she was taking control, she provided the direction needed to recover what was lost.

Using Ephesians 5:20–21 and its connection to walking in wisdom, this episode explores the power of quiet leadership, mutual submission, and recognizing when someone else can see clearly in a moment when you cannot.

Quiet leadership does not compete with panic. It lowers the temperature, identifies the next wise step, and brings direction.

  • It's Bigger Than What You Accomplish
    Aug 31 2026

Leadership is not simply standing in front of people, giving orders or making decisions. Leadership is using your influence to help people move in the right direction. So, leadership cannot be measured simply by what you accomplish.

  • Decision Fatigue
    Aug 19 2026

Ever make a decision and later think, “I knew better than that”?

Sometimes the issue isn't your leadership ability. You're simply making too many decisions while carrying too much.

In Numbers 20, God told Moses to speak to the rock. Moses struck it—twice. There’s a leadership lesson in that moment about pressure, capacity, and what can happen when leaders keep making decisions while mentally and emotionally exhausted.

In this episode of The RESET Leadership Podcast, we unpack decision fatigue and three simple tactics to help protect the quality of your decisions: Pause. Prioritize. Pass.

Because sometimes you're not making bad decisions because you're a bad leader.

    You're making decisions tired.

  • Uneven Ground
    Aug 17 2026

Is your leadership being experienced evenly across your organization?

You may believe you're leading everyone well, but take a closer look.

    Who gets your attention?
    Who gets developed?
    Who gets encouraged?
    Who gets acknowledged?

And who mostly hears from you when something goes wrong?

In this episode of The RESET Leadership Podcast, we look at Uneven Ground—what happens when support, accountability, development, and recognition consistently flow toward some people while others are unintentionally overlooked.

Good leadership doesn't mean giving everyone the exact same thing, every single time. People are different and need different things. But different doesn't have to mean unequal.

Sometimes the problem isn't the people you're trying to grow.

    Sometimes the ground is uneven.
