Have you ever wanted to memorize Scripture but didn’t know where to start?

Welcome to Know By Heart, a guided Scripture memory podcast where we memorize God’s Word together—one verse at a time. In this intro episode, I share the heart behind the podcast and why hiding God’s Word in our hearts matters more than any other habit we can build.

This podcast was inspired by 100 Bible Verses Everyone Should Know by Heart by Robert J. Morgan, but you don’t need the book to join. Each week, we’ll reflect on one verse, practice memorizing it, and find simple ways to carry it with us throughout the day.

We’ll primarily be using the ESV Bible, a word-for-word translation that’s especially helpful for memorization, but you’re free to use any translation you prefer.

I’ve also created a Bible verse tracker printable, and if you’re a visual learner, you can watch the episodes on YouTube and read along on screen. You’ll find the tracker and more resources linked in the show notes.
