In this episode of Building Success, Nick Ainis speaks with Jimmy Castonguay from GreenBirch Capital about investing in "the missing middle" housing developments.
Prior to joining GreenBirch Capital, Jimmy spent 2 years with a Schedule A bank, followed by 10 years with Canada’s largest non-bank Lender of commercial and multi-family mortgages. During this time, he worked with a variety of clients including small and midsize private operators and builders, as well as large institutional investors.
Jimmy also had the opportunity to work in several markets across Canada – including Kitchener, Toronto and Vancouver - providing tailored financing solutions in relation to property acquisitions, building improvements, land servicing and new developments of retail, industrial and purpose-built apartments. His greatest expertise is understanding CMHC’s programs and policies and how they best suit a client’s needs for Term and Construction Loans.
