In this, the Amelie episode of the pod, Beth and Tess discuss the fun of films focused on whimsy and quirk, make a few comparisons to Wes Anderson, lament the lack of films like Amelie for young girls who want something other than only homemaking or corporate ambition for their lives, compare and contrast their own experience of Paris and city life to what is shown in the movie, and spend a lot more time than necessary talking about the absence of the color blue.
