This week in the news: Paradox accepts blame for the Bloodlines 2 failure (and it totally should). Steam makes a call on banning a game that GoG has decided to sell anyway. The CEO of Roblox is totally fine with all the predators on his platform preying on children so long as it pumps up his game numbers. Yeah, he's a pretty vile dude, tbh. And what will likely be the topic of the decade (or at least the next few years): AI in gaming. Is it cool or not? Let's discuss. Oak's back and he's played the entirety of Dispatch so now he's on to a Spiderman game! This week in the news: Take Two's stocks drop alongside the delay of GTA 6 and they're still slightly disappointed in the Borderlands 4 launch. Steam announced a bunch of new hardware including a new Steam Machine, VR headset, and controller. Will it be on par with console pricing? And one of the original devs for the first Saints Row game has Embracer's interest after talking about a revival of the series via a 1970s prequel. What have we been doing this week? Well Grif's brain is broken upon replaying a game that she'd already given a lot of grace. Is it really that bad or is she just bitter these days? Chicken is too good at RTS games and figured out how to absolutely dominate in a playtest for an upcoming game. And of course, "Friend Slop" as Chicken called it, is everywhere. Bully is about to have a fan-made MMO mod and early access starts in December. Amazon cut 14,000 jobs from their gaming division. Halo is coming to PS5 with Campaign Evolved. Microsoft wants to make all of the money and also the next "console" will likely just be a PC. In the non-news stuffs: REPO got an update and everyone loves it.
