    Loan math:

    Daily interest accrual:

    Loan Balance x (1/365) x interest rate

    True Interest Cost:

Total Quantity of Dollars Paid in Interest / Principal Amount of Loan x 100%

Total Quantity of Dollars Paid in Interest:

[ (Monthly Payment x number of Payments) + fees + pain of enduring underwriting ]- cash price

    Examples:

    Daily Interest- $10k x 1/365 x 0.05 = $1.3698 ($1.37 per day when rounded)

    True Interest-

    #1 $10k x 0.06 x 365/365 = $600 or 6%

    #2 $10k x 0.06 x 183/365 = $300.82

    $5k x 0.06 x 182/365 = $149.59

    $300.82 + 149.49 = $450.41 or 4.5%

    #3 $10k x 0.06 x 304/365 = $499.73 or 4.99%

  • Ep.3 Premium: What's the right amount?
    Nov 13 2025

In this episode of The Infinite Mindset Podcast, Andy, Scott, and Jared explore one of the most common questions in Infinite Banking—how much premium is the right amount? They break down what “meaningful and manageable” really means, why your first policy won’t solve every financial need, and how to think long-term about building your personal banking system. Along the way, they discuss the mindset shift required to see premium as a solution, not a cost—and how that shift transforms everything about how you manage money.

    • These articles are about using IBC as a cash-flow and financing system for business owners
    • The tax bill is used as a catalyst / source of funding rather than just an expense out the door. The same dollars serve multiple purposes: building policy value + satisfying tax obligations.
    • This is not a shortcut or magic — you still pay your taxes, you still need to follow rules; you’re simply redirecting flows and building a financial system tailored to you.
