    • Announcements: Book Club & Substack
      Feb 10 2025

Just a quick message to let you know that I'm taking a short hiatus to do some restructuring and recording. I'm setting us up with a new community platform where we can chat, we can ask questions, get answers, and to truly connect on In Our Skin.

I will be back in no time and we will have a Substack where you can watch, listen, read, comment, share, take part in new fun offerings. And over there you'll have access to more content and more ways to come together. To grow, and to learn, together.

Also don't fret because you can still find the podcast in all of your favorite listening locations. Coming down the pipeline, we've got episodes on perfectionism, and as you've heard me say, we have Christie Tate, author of Group and BFF, coming to talk to us. In honor of this, I would love to have you join us for Book Club this month as we delve into Group.

    • Why We Blame Our Bodies: Women, body image, body dissatisfaction and how we can change it
      Jan 24 2025

With 69-84% of women out there struggling with their relationship bodies, it's clear that this is a pervasive problem and something we need to be addressing. So where do we begin? First we have to understand where it comes from, then we begin to change it.

    • Reshaping Identity: Breaking out of gender roles, releasing internalized patterns and beliefs
      Jan 17 2025

The conversation last week sparked a lot of interest. A resounding "that is my life" from the ladies in the crowd. So while I had planned to take the pod conversation in another direction, I found myself instead taking a little pause to give it all a little more thought. The question I’ve been sitting with and digging into: WHY?

Why are things seemingly changing and yet barely changing at all? Why are the men who want to support change still lagging behind in their actual change and contributions and how are we, as women potentially contributing to our own problem?

Today I’m going to give you the perspective that come through the work I do. How this ties into EMDR, healing, breaking patterns and change.
