      In this episode of 'In Conversation With', our Communications team host Matthew Brown, meets Charlotte who talks about life living with a severe peanut allergy. We are also joined by Charlotte's mum Sarah, who talks about raising a child with a severe allergy and Consultant Katie McConnell who is also allergic to peanuts.


      Charlotte, only 12 years old, has had her allergy since she was a baby. Suffering multiple instances of anaphylaxis, Charlotte's mum Sarah talks about what it has been like raising a daughter with a severe allergy. The stress of checking food labels, children's parties and the lengths she had to go to in order to keep Charlotte safe.


      Also joining us is Consultant Dr Katie McConnell who talks about the important signs to look out for in young children and the steps to take if you believe your child is suffering from an allergic reaction.
