I hope you will join us tomorrow at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

Today we are studying John 8:1–11 in a message titled, “Grace and a New Beginning.”

A woman is publicly brought before Jesus and defined by her sin, while her accusers prepare to condemn her. Jesus responds with perfect wisdom, mercy, and truth.

In this study, we will learn:

• Why we should examine our own hearts before condemning someone else
• How words, gossip, and public humiliation can become stones
• Why our past does not have to become our permanent identity
• How Jesus offers forgiveness without pretending that sin does not matter
• Why genuine grace calls us to repentance and a new way of living

We will also focus on three devotional truths:

• John 8:7 — Drop the Stone
• John 8:10 — Your Past Is Not Your Name
• John 8:11 — Grace Opens a New Road

Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are beginning your faith journey, are returning to God, or simply have questions, you are welcome here.

Please follow the podcast and share this episode with someone who needs to know that failure does not have to be the end of their story. Through Jesus, grace and a new beginning are available.

In this passage, a woman is publicly accused and brought before Jesus. While others are prepared to condemn and humiliate her, Jesus responds with wisdom, mercy, truth, and an invitation to begin living differently.

Together, we will examine the danger of self-righteous judgment, our shared need for God’s grace, and the important difference between forgiveness and permission to continue living in sin. We will also respectfully discuss the manuscript note that appears with this passage in many modern Bibles.

If you have ever felt defined by your past or wondered whether God could offer you another beginning, this study is for you.
