In this episode of Coached by Truth, Jim Kirkland explores something that can be surprisingly difficult in a busy, noisy, and demanding world: learning to be still.
Our lives are filled with responsibilities, conversations, notifications, decisions, problems to solve, and people who need our attention. Even when our bodies stop moving, our minds can continue racing. Yet Scripture reminds us of the importance of becoming still long enough to remember who God is and to recognize that we do not have to control everything around us.
Through practical Christian coaching and biblical principles, this episode encourages you to examine the noise and activity in your own life and consider whether you are creating enough space to be quiet, listen, pray, reflect, and simply rest in the presence of God.
Being still is not the same as doing nothing. Sometimes stillness requires discipline. It means intentionally stepping away from the noise, resisting the urge to fill every available moment, and trusting that God remains at work even when we stop striving.
